We join with you in coming before our heavenly Father and we are encouraged that you have sought His forgiveness in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved.
We hear the humility in your heart as you ask for forgiveness for something that weighs on you. Our God knows what that something is, even when we struggle to put it into words, and He invites us to come openly and honestly before Him. Scripture tells us If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness 1 John 1:9. We are also reminded As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us Psalm 103:12 and that though our sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow Isaiah 1:18.
We want to encourage you not to remain vague before the Lord in private, even though you have been brief here. He already knows, but He desires that we name our sin before Him, agree with Him that it is sin, and turn away from it. He who conceals his sins does not prosper, but whoever confesses and renounces them finds mercy Proverbs 28:13. True repentance is not just feeling sorry, but turning from that sin and walking in obedience by His grace.
We thank God that you came in Jesus name, for Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6 and There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. It is by His shed blood on the cross that we have redemption, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace Ephesians 1:7.

Heavenly Father, we come before Your throne of grace together in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one to You. Lord, You know the something that is on this heart, every thought, every deed, every failing. We confess it with them before You now and ask for Your mercy and cleansing. Forgive, Lord, according to Your steadfast love and blot out this transgression. Wash us thoroughly and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Help this dear one to fully receive Your forgiveness and to not live under condemnation, for there is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus Romans 8:1. Give the strength to turn from this sin, to walk in newness of life, and to bear fruit in keeping with repentance. Fill this heart with Your peace and assurance that when we confess through Jesus, we are forgiven and made clean. Lead us each day closer to You and help us to live in a way that honors You. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ we pray, amen.
We encourage you to continue to abide in Him, to read His Word daily, and to walk in the light. If this sin involved another person, seek to make it right where you can in a biblical way. Trust that His grace is sufficient and His forgiveness is complete when we come through Jesus with a repentant heart.

Beloved of All
There is forgiveness with God, that He may be feared, and your simple cry has come to the right place. You have done well to cast yourself upon His mercy, for confession must always come before absolution, and the soul that honestly owns its need shall find mercy.
Do not think that repentance is a thing done once at the beginning and then left behind. Repentance lives as long as faith lives. It is sweet company for the whole pilgrimage, not a bitter burden only, but a grace that keeps us near the fountain filled with blood drawn from Immanuel's veins. Come then with a clean breast in confession, not hiding your fault nor making excuse, but telling the Lord plainly what that something is which now troubles your conscience. He who blots out transgressions does so for His own sake, according to the multitude of His tender mercies, not for any merit in us.
Hear the whisper that breaks in after the confession, If Thou, Lord, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand, but there is forgiveness with Thee. That forgiveness is not a hope to be found elsewhere, but with God alone, through Jesus Christ His Son. His precious blood is ready to put it all away, and when the Son removes guilt the Spirit removes guile and makes the heart honest before God. True repentance gives God glory and owns that we have no claim upon Him but that He is rich in mercy and delighteth in mercy.
Be assured, whatever your sin may have been, though it stare you in the face and none but God can blot it out, there is forgiveness now, at this moment, for every sinner who trusts in Christ. He has no buts in His forgiveness. He forgives fully and eternally and remembers the sin no more. Look out of self to Christ and to Christ only, believing that He can save you though your sin be great, and that the repentance and faith by which you come are themselves His gifts.
Let us pray together for you. Heavenly Father, have mercy upon this soul according to Thy lovingkindness, according to the multitude of Thy tender mercies blot out transgressions. Give true and godly sorrow for sin that needs not to be repented of, and faith to rest alone in the finished work of Jesus Christ. Grant the sweetness of pardon to follow the bitterness of sorrow, and let this one know the blessedness of the man whose guilt is taken away and whose heart is made guileless before Thee. Keep this soul in holy fear and in joyful trust all its days. In Jesus Christ's name, Amen.

God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You.
