We hear your cry for deliverance and stand with you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved and find true freedom. Your request reveals a deep struggle against spiritual oppression, and we want to assure you that the Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). The enemy seeks to torment and enslave, but Jesus came to set the captives free (Luke 4:18). Let us address this with the authority of Scripture and the power of prayer.

You are troubled by memories of music and by sounds and words that cling to the mind, and by assaults of the evil one and by lust which wars within. Know this, that deliverance from the power of sin is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin. It is not of him that wills, nor of him that runs, but of God that shows mercy. No man can deliver himself from spiritual bondage by any easy work or by a hasty word. It must be by supernatural power, and that power is found in Christ alone, for He has borne the penalty of all our iniquities and has made a way where none could have been imagined. God has not only invented a way of deliverance, but He has found a ransom, and that ransom is His own Son.
The arrows of the enemy are often shot from Satan's bow to wound the conscience and to inflame the passions, and the fascination of sinful music and unclean thoughts may seem as though you could break from them in a moment, yet they hold fast. In order to be delivered you must look to your heavenly Father altogether and alone. He it is who delivers from the power of darkness and who keeps back the soul from the Pit. He has taught many to see the mischief that comes from loving the world and the things thereof, so that temptation afterwards tempts in vain.
Therefore turn away from that which pollutes the mind. Put away the music and the sounds which feed lust and give place to the devil, and fill your mind with the Word of God and with psalms and hymns which honor Christ. Make no provision for the flesh. Seek the Lord in prayer and in the reading of Scripture, and ask Him to cleanse your memory and your imagination by the washing of water by the Word. He will save you not only from punishment but from yourself and from all the attacks of your old sins, saved from the devil and from evil company.

We have heard your cry for deliverance and we join our faith with yours before the Father in the name of Jesus Christ. The Lord knows the burden of memories, sounds, words and titles that cling to the mind, and He knows the weight of spiritual attack and the struggle against lust. There is hope, because deliverance and new life come through Jesus Christ alone, who bore the curse and brings us into adoption as children of God.
We pray for you now: Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, we ask for Your mercy and cleansing upon this dear one. Wash away every demonic memory and every lingering sound, word and image from that music. Break every influence of evil spirits and every attack of the enemy. Fill this heart and mind with Your Holy Spirit, with peace, purity and strength. Grant repentance where needed, forgiveness through the blood of Christ, and power to walk in holiness. Therefore we encourage you in the Lord to take practical steps as God gives grace: remove that music and any related material from your devices and surroundings so it no longer has access to your mind, replace what you have removed with Scripture, prayer and wholesome worship that fixes your thoughts on Christ, bring your struggle into the light with a trusted pastor or mature believer for prayer and accountability, keep a steady rhythm of reading the Word and prayer each day, and guard your body through temperance and self control, avoiding idleness and places that stir temptation. If memories return, do not engage them but immediately turn to Christ in prayer, recite Scripture, and ask the Spirit to fill your mind with what is pure and good.
God is faithful and He who has begun a good work will complete it as you seek Him with your whole heart. Continue to seek Him daily as one who searches for treasure, with persistence and trust. He is not distant but near to all who call upon Him through Jesus Christ.

Your honest prayer for deliverance has been heard and taken seriously before the Lord. The desire to be free from lingering memories of music, from sounds and words and titles that stay in the mind, and from the oppression of evil spirits and from lust is a desire God honors.
The Bible makes clear that the spiritual battle is real. Evil spirits are not just ideas, they are personal forces that seek to control and torment, and they can gain a foothold through what we see and hear and allow into our minds. What you describe, the way a song or its words can replay and bring temptation or heaviness, shows how the enemy tries to work from within, not only from outside. Lust itself is part of that same system. The lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes and the pride of life are not from the Father but from the world, and that world with its desires is passing away. That is why those memories feel so sticky and defiling, they belong to a system that is opposed to God.
There is hope because Jesus Christ has complete authority over all of it. Death could not hold Him. God raised Him up, and when He ascended He led captivity captive and set captives free. When He walked on earth demons cried out and fled at His word, and they begged Him not to send them to the place of confinement before their time. He has not lost that authority. No matter how strong the memory or how persistent the attack, His power is greater.
No one in this life is immune from the attacks of the enemy, even after great spiritual blessing. That is why we must stay armed. The way Jesus met attack was with truth, saying it is written and using the Word of God as a shield. You can do the same. Bring those memories and that music into the light before the Lord, confess where you have opened the door, and renounce it specifically in the name of Jesus. Ask Him to cleanse your mind and to forgive and deliver you through His blood alone, for salvation and deliverance come through Him alone. Then replace what you are removing. Do not leave the mind empty. Fill it with Scripture, with worship that honors Christ, and with fellowship with God in the secret place of the Most High. He promises to cover those who dwell there with His wings and to be a shield, to be present in trouble, to deliver and to show His salvation.
I pray for you now. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, I ask You to deliver this dear one from every demonic memory, from every sound and word and title that has lodged in the mind, and from every work of evil spirits and every assault and every spirit of lust. Bring those memories and that music into the light before the Lord, confess where you have opened the door, and renounce it specifically in the name of Jesus. Ask Him to cleanse your mind and to forgive and deliver you through His blood alone, for salvation and deliverance come through Him alone. Then replace what you are removing. Do not leave the mind empty. Fill it with Scripture, with worship that honors Christ, and with fellowship with God in the secret place of the Most High. He promises to cover those who dwell there with His wings and to be a shield, to be present in trouble, to deliver and to show His salvation.
I pray for you now. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, I ask You to deliver this dear one from every demonic memory, from every sound and word and title that has lodged in the mind, and from every work of evil spirits and every assault and every spirit of lust. Wash the mind and heart by the blood of Jesus, break every chain, and fill this life with Your Holy Spirit and with Your truth. Teach this one to walk in Your Word daily, to use Your truth as a shield, and to abide under Your wings in close fellowship with You. Lead into purity and peace, and let the old things pass away as You make all things new. Grant strength to turn away from what is not of You and to cling to what is pure and lasting. In Jesus name, amen.
Keep walking with the Lord each day, feeding on His Word, praying honestly, and choosing what is pure to dwell on. If the memories return, do not fight them in your own strength, speak Scripture over them and call on Jesus. He is faithful to keep delivering and to keep you.
