We lift this heartfelt plea to the throne of grace, joining with you in intercession for this man, his wife, and their family. The Word of God tells us in 1 Timothy 2:3-4, "For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and come to the full knowledge of the truth." It is the Lord’s will that none should perish, and we stand in agreement with His desire for salvation to come to this household.
First, we must address the foundation of salvation itself. The request is made in Jesus’ name, and we rejoice in that, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Salvation comes only through faith in Jesus Christ, who died for our sins and rose again, as it is written in Romans 10:9, "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." We pray that this man, his wife, and their family would not only hear the Gospel but receive it with repentant hearts, turning from sin and placing their trust in Christ alone.
We also recognize the power of a godly witness in the home. If this man is a believer, we pray that his life would reflect Christ in such a way that his wife and family are drawn to the Lord. 1 Peter 3:1-2 reminds us, "In the same way, wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; so that, even if any don’t obey the Word, they may be won by the behavior of their wives without a word." For the husband, we pray that he would lead his family with love, humility, and faithfulness, as Ephesians 5:25 commands, "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself up for it."
If there is unbelief in this home, we rebuke the spirit of deception and hardness of heart that may be blinding them to the truth. 2 Corinthians 4:4 warns, "In whom the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that the light of the Good News of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should not dawn on them." We pray that the scales would fall from their eyes and that they would see the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
We also lift up any generational strongholds that may be hindering this family from receiving the Gospel. Exodus 20:5 speaks of the iniquities of the fathers being visited upon the children, but we declare that the blood of Jesus breaks every chain. We pray that any ungodly influences in this family line would be broken in Jesus’ name, and that a legacy of faith would begin with this generation.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts burdened for this family. We ask that You would move in power to draw them to Yourself. Lord, we pray for the wife, soften her heart, open her ears to hear Your voice, and let her see her need for a Savior. For the husband, if he is not yet saved, we ask that You would convict him of sin and lead him to repentance. If he is a believer, strengthen him to be the spiritual leader his family needs.
Father, we rebuke every lie of the enemy that would keep this family in darkness. We declare that the light of Christ shines in their home, exposing sin and bringing the truth that sets them free. We pray for divine appointments, send laborers into their lives who will share the Gospel with boldness and love. Let Your Word not return void but accomplish the purpose for which You sent it.
We ask for a spirit of repentance to fall upon this household. May they turn from any idols, any sin, any rebellion, and run to You, the only One who can save. We pray for unity in their marriage, that it would reflect the love between Christ and His church. May their home be a place of peace, worship, and obedience to Your Word.
Lord, we trust in Your promise that if we ask anything according to Your will, You hear us. And we know that it is Your will for all to be saved. So we stand in faith, believing that You are at work even now, drawing this family to Yourself. May they come to know You intimately, walk in Your ways, and experience the fullness of life that is found only in Christ.
