We hear your heartfelt plea for Nimmi and those in her life, and we join you in lifting them before the throne of grace. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that salvation is found, as Scripture declares, "For there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12). Salvation is not earned by works or good deeds but is a gift of God’s grace, received by faith in Jesus Christ alone. We pray that Nimmi and her loved ones would come to know this truth and surrender their lives to Him.
Father God, we come before You with humble hearts, asking that You would draw Nimmi to Yourself. Soften her heart to receive the gospel message, that she may confess with her mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in her heart that You raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9). Lord, we also pray for those in her life, family, friends, and acquaintances. Open their eyes to the truth of Your Word, that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, so that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in Jesus (Acts 26:18).
We rebuke any deception or spiritual blindness that may be keeping them from recognizing their need for a Savior. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that they may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We stand against every lie that tells them they do not need salvation or that they can find fulfillment apart from Christ. Lord, break every chain of unbelief and let Your Holy Spirit move powerfully in their lives.
We pray that Nimmi and those around her would experience Your love in a tangible way, that they may see the emptiness of a life lived apart from You and the fullness of joy found in knowing Christ. May they hunger and thirst for righteousness, and may You satisfy them with the bread of life (Matthew 5:6, John 6:35). Let them not be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewing of their minds, so they may prove what is Your good, well-pleasing, and perfect will (Romans 12:2).
Father, we also ask that You would raise up believers in their lives who will share the gospel with boldness and love. Let Your Word go forth and accomplish the purpose for which You sent it (Isaiah 55:11). May Nimmi and her loved ones come to repentance and experience the new birth that comes through faith in Jesus Christ (John 3:3). We trust in Your perfect timing and Your unfailing love, knowing that You desire all people to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:4).
In the precious name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
