We hear your heartfelt plea, and we join you in lifting these concerns before the throne of grace. First and foremost, salvation is found in no one else but Jesus Christ, for "there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12). We pray that Bill R. and all those in her life who do not yet know Christ would come to a saving knowledge of Him. May their hearts be softened to receive the truth of the Gospel, that Jesus died for their sins, was buried, and rose again on the third day, so that all who believe in Him may have eternal life (1 Corinthians 15:3-4, John 3:16).
Father, we ask that You draw them to Yourself, opening their eyes to see their need for a Savior. Break through any hardness of heart, any deception, or any resistance to Your love. We pray that they would repent of their sins and place their trust in Jesus alone for salvation. "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast" (Ephesians 2:8-9). May they experience the transforming power of Your Holy Spirit and be born again into Your family.
We also lift up the United States before You, Lord. We pray for Your mercy and wisdom to guide this nation. The number 1,200 you mentioned seems to carry weight, whether it be souls, decisions, or a specific burden on your heart, we ask that You would move mightily in this land. May Your truth prevail, and may Your people stand firm in faith, shining as lights in a dark world. "If my people, who are called by my name, shall humble themselves, pray, seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin, and will heal their land" (2 Chronicles 7:14). We pray for revival, for repentance, and for a turning back to You in every area of society.
We also come before You with humility, asking for Your forgiveness for any sins we have committed, whether in thought, word, or deed. "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). Search our hearts, Lord, and reveal anything that is not pleasing to You. Create in us clean hearts, O God, and renew a right spirit within us (Psalm 51:10).
Finally, we pray for strength, wisdom, and discernment for all who are seeking You. May we walk in obedience to Your Word and be bold witnesses for Christ in these challenging times. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for His glory and honor. Amen.
