We come before the throne of grace with your request, lifting it up in the mighty name of Jesus. Father, we acknowledge that You are the One who searches the heart and knows the depths of our minds. You have promised in Your Word that if we ask anything according to Your will, You hear us (1 John 5:14). We ask that You would indeed remove these songs and their associations from memory, for we know that the mind set on the flesh is death, but the mind set on the Spirit is life and peace (Romans 8:6). Lord, we rebuke any ungodly influence these songs may have had, and we declare that Your truth will reign in the mind and heart of this dear one.
We also lift up Pritchard and Luigi, along with those in their lives, asking for Your saving grace to fall upon them if they have not yet surrendered to Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We pray that the eyes of their hearts would be enlightened to see the hope of Your calling, the riches of Your glorious inheritance in the saints, and the immeasurable greatness of Your power toward those who believe (Ephesians 1:18-19). Father, we ask that You would draw them to Yourself, for no one can come to You unless the Father who sent Jesus draws them (John 6:44). May they hear the Gospel, repent, and place their faith in Christ alone for salvation.
Lord, we also take this moment to encourage this dear one to fill their mind with what is true, noble, right, pure, lovely, admirable, excellent, and praiseworthy (Philippians 4:8). Let the word of Christ dwell in them richly, teaching and admonishing one another with all wisdom, singing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs with gratitude in their heart to You (Colossians 3:16). May the songs that replace these memories be ones that glorify You and edify the soul.
Heavenly Father, we pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We ask that You would grant this request according to Your perfect will, knowing that You are faithful to complete the good work You have begun in each of us (Philippians 1:6). May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard this heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Amen.
Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, so that I can trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.
