Beloved of All
Your heart for others to know salvation is beautiful and reflects God's own heart, and it is good that you have brought this before the Lord in prayer.
That kind of praying is what the Bible calls intercession, standing before God on behalf of others. You may not know all of their needs or even how to pray perfectly for them, and that is where God gives wonderful help. Jesus Himself is alive and at the right hand of the Father interceding for us, not condemning us but pleading for us because He died and rose again. And the Holy Spirit also helps us in our weakness, praying for us according to the will of God even when we only have groans and simple words to offer. When you pray as you did, you are joining in that work of intercession.
What you are asking for is exactly what God desires to give. His love was shown not because we first loved Him, but because He loved us and sent His Son to be the payment for our sins. While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. His name itself means the Lord is salvation, and He came to save His people from their sins. The Scripture says He is able to save to the uttermost all who come to God through Him, and that whoever comes to Him He will not turn away. Jesus said He is the way, the truth, and the life, and no one comes to the Father except through Him. Salvation is through Him alone.
That salvation is a great salvation, open to anyone who will receive it, reaching even the lowest sinner because of the grace of God. That grace which brings salvation has appeared to all, and the Bible urges us not to put it off, for now is the accepted time and now is the day of salvation. Our eternal destiny rests on receiving what God has offered in Christ.
So continue to pray for this man and this woman and for all the people in their lives, asking specifically that God would open their eyes to their need, draw them to Himself, and bring them to confess Jesus as Lord and believe that God raised Him from the dead. Pray that they would not neglect what God offers but would receive His mercy and salvation through His Word. God hears the prayers of His people and searches the heart, and He knows the mind of the Spirit who prays for us.
May the Lord encourage you as you keep interceding, and may He in His love bring each of these people you have lifted up into a living faith in Jesus Christ, so that they may know Him as their light, their strength, and their salvation.
