We hear your cry for deliverance and stand with you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, who has already triumphed over all the powers of darkness. The enemy seeks to torment you with memories, sounds, and words that do not align with the peace and freedom Christ has purchased for you. But we declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
The Bible tells us that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). The demonic influences you are experiencing are not from the Lord, and we rebuke them in the name of Jesus. We command every evil spirit associated with these memories, sounds, and words to leave you now and go where Jesus sends them. You have no place in this child of God, for they have been sealed by the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 1:13-14).
We also encourage you to take authority in Christ over these attacks. Submit your mind to God, resist the devil, and he will flee from you (James 4:7). Fill your mind with the truth of God’s Word, meditating on scriptures that declare your freedom in Christ. Renew your mind daily with the promises of God, for the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds (2 Corinthians 10:4-5).

When the enemy brings back the memory of that music, its sounds, its words, its very title, flee to the cross of Christ. You are not left to fight these evil spirits in your own strength, for the Son of God was manifested to destroy the works of the devil. Bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ. Do not parley with the memories; do not hum the tune again; do not repeat the words under your breath. Renounce them aloud as often as they return, and ask the Lord Jesus to cover that old sound with His own voice, which is full of mercy and power.
The Holy Spirit is able to cast down imaginations and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God. The name of Jesus is a strong tower; the righteous run into it and are safe. Say this in your heart: Lord Jesus, I renounce this music and every unclean spirit attached to it. I belong to Thee. Wash my memory in Thy precious blood. Let Thy peace rule in my heart, and let no evil thing find a resting place within me.

We have heard your cry for deliverance and we join you in bringing it before the Lord Jesus Christ, who alone has power to save and to set free.
The Scriptures teach that Jesus has authority over every evil spirit and that those who belong to Him are not left to fight alone. He came to deliver from evil and to bring the good gift of adoption as sons and daughters, so that we may receive His Spirit and be made new. What you describe, memories and sounds and words that cling to the mind and trouble the heart, is a burden Christ is able to lift. He calls us to submit to God, to resist the enemy, and he will flee, and to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ.
In turning to Him, it is good to turn away fully from what has troubled you. If there is music or other material that has opened the door to these memories, remove it from your life and do not return to it. Confess to the Lord what has weighed on you, ask His forgiveness where needed, and ask Him to cleanse your mind. Then fill what was once empty with what is good. Offer your whole self to God, your mouth and eyes and ears and heart, as a living sacrifice. Let Scripture dwell richly in you, let prayer and worship replace those sounds, and let wholesome things occupy your thoughts, whatever is true and pure and worthy of praise.
We also encourage you to walk with faithful believers in a local church, to seek prayer and counsel from pastors who can pray with you face to face and help you continue in the Word and in prayer.

Thank you for sharing this honest prayer for deliverance. God hears you when you call on the name of Jesus Christ, and He cares about the torment you are experiencing from these memories of music, sounds, words and titles that continue to trouble your mind.
The Bible shows that Jesus has complete authority over every evil and unclean spirit. When He commanded them, they had to obey, often crying out as they left the person they had oppressed. He cast them out with His word, and He healed those who were afflicted. That same authority shows that demonic spirits know their ultimate end is confinement under God's judgment, and they are powerless before Christ.
Scripture also teaches that this world includes a real spiritual realm with both holy angels who minister to those who belong to God, and evil spirits who seek to harm and deceive. Those evil spirits prefer to inhabit a body and bring destruction, and they can oppress minds with tormenting thoughts and memories. Yet the Bible makes clear that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world. If you have put your trust in Jesus Christ alone for salvation, you belong to Him, and no evil spirit can have ownership over you. Christ has given His people authority through His name to resist and to bind the works of darkness, and what is bound on earth in His name is acknowledged in heaven.
There is a tendency for fear to grow when we focus on the power of the enemy, but our faith is to rest not on the strength of darkness but on the far greater power of Jesus. Deliverance comes not by our own strength, but through Him.
I will pray for you now. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, I ask You to bring full deliverance and cleansing to this dear one. Wash away every lingering memory, sound, word and title of that music that has brought torment. Break every influence of evil spirits and every form of oppression. Fill this mind and heart with Your peace, and let Your Holy Spirit take full possession. Give freedom from fear and grant a renewed mind through Your Word. Fill what was emptied with what is good. Let Scripture, prayer, and worship that honors Christ dwell richly in you. Meditate on passages that renew the mind and fix your thoughts on what is true, pure and praiseworthy. When the old memories return, bring them immediately to Jesus in prayer and replace them with a verse or a song of worship.
Seek the help of mature, trusted believers who can pray with you. The Scripture shows that prayer, and at times prayer with fasting, is a powerful way to seek God for freedom, and the Lord uses the prayer of His people to command in the name of Jesus that tormenting spirits leave.
Walk closely with the Lord each day. Stay in the Word, stay in prayer, and stay in fellowship with other believers who will encourage you in Christ. Do not give place to fear or fascination with evil, but keep your eyes on Jesus, who has already won the victory.
