We hear your cry for deliverance and stand with you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach the throne of grace. Your request touches on deep spiritual warfare, and we take this battle seriously, for the Word of God declares, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places" (Ephesians 6:12 WEB). The enemy seeks to torment you with memories, sounds, and spirits that do not align with the freedom Christ has already won for you. But we declare that these chains are broken in Jesus' name!
The spirits of lust and the evil eye you mentioned are tools of the enemy to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10 WEB), but Jesus came so that you might have life, and have it abundantly. Lust, in particular, is a snare that defiles the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:18-20 WEB). If these memories or influences are tied to past sin or ungodly relationships, we encourage you to repent and turn away from anything that does not honor God. The blood of Jesus cleanses us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9 WEB), and His grace empowers us to walk in purity.

We lift up our brother/sister to You, who is crying out for deliverance from demonic memories, sounds, and spirits of lust and the evil eye. Lord, You are the God who breaks every chain and sets the captives free. We rebuke every evil spirit that has sought to torment and oppress. We command them to flee in Jesus’ name, for "the Son of God was revealed for this purpose: to destroy the works of the devil" (1 John 3:8 WEB).
Father, we ask that You wash over this dear one with the cleansing power of the blood of Jesus. Erase every ungodly memory and replace it with the truth of Your Word. Fill their mind with whatever is true, honorable, just, pure, lovely, and of good report (Philippians 4:8 WEB). Break every curse and every assignment of the enemy over their life. We declare that they are a new creation in Christ, old things have passed away, and all things have become new (2 Corinthians 5:17 WEB).
Lord, we pray for a fresh infilling of the Holy Spirit to guard their heart and mind. Surround them with Your angels and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, rule in their life (Philippians 4:7 WEB). Strengthen them to resist the devil, so that he will flee from them (James 4:7 WEB). We speak life, freedom, and victory over them today. Your cry for deliverance reaches the ear of the Lord, who has never forsaken them that seek Him. Those memories of music, those clinging words and sounds, the lust and the evil eye, these are the archers that shoot at you when you would draw water from the wells of salvation. Yet take heart: the Lord God is your deliverer, and He will bring you forth from this Egypt of the mind. The ransom has been found in Jesus Christ, and there is music sweeter than any earthly strain in that word, gracious, free favor for the full of sin.
When the Lamb was slain, deliverance became yours, not by your striving but by Divine power alone. He has delivered you from the guilt of sin, and He will deliver you from its foul memory and tempting power. Those demonic whispers are but fiery darts, but the shield of faith quenches every one. Wait on Him who delivered Jacob from Esau; the bloodthirsty foe fell upon his neck and kissed him.
So shall the turmoil of your spirit give way to peace. Then you shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord. The very troubles you now endure will become the theme of your grateful song, for a believer's harp yields its sweetest music after deliverance. Even now, may the Holy Spirit make rare music in your heart upon this harp of three strings: the Father’s purpose, the Son’s ransom, and the Spirit’s power.

The Lord who commanded unclean spirits to come out is able to silence every unclean memory. But deliverance will come as you learn not to sit under those memories as under a master. A sound, a title, a song can knock at the door, but it cannot enter unless the will opens to it. When it knocks, do not reason with it, do not replay it, do not fear it as if it were stronger than Christ. Say, “Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy on me,” and turn your mind to the Psalms or to the judgment and mercy of God.
The evil one works through suggestion, not through force. A thought is not yet a sin unless you embrace it. So when the memory of that music returns, refuse it at once. Do not love it, do not hate it with anxious attention, but set it aside as a vain noise. Fill the ears with the words of Scripture, and the mind will be too full for the old sounds.
Concerning the evil eye: do not be afraid of a glance as though it carried magical power. In Scripture the evil eye means envy, a heart that cannot see another’s good without being poisoned. If you have such envy, confess it and ask God to cleanse the eye of your understanding. If you fear it from another, fear God alone. No human eye can destroy a soul that is under the shadow of the Almighty.
Concerning lust: our Lord did not command you to mutilate your body when he said to pluck out the offending eye and cut off the offending hand. He meant that if something is as dear to you as an eye, yet it drags you to sin, cut yourself off from it. If that music or its words and title feed lust, remove it from your hearing, your devices, your mouth, and your memory’s consent. Do not keep near the fire and beg to be delivered from burning. Separation from the occasion is the first step of true deliverance.
Pray with me: O Lord Jesus Christ, who cast out demons and stilled the storm, deliver this soul from every unclean memory, every lust, every envy, and every spirit of darkness. You have done the right thing by bringing this to the Lord in the name of Jesus. That is the only name in which deliverance comes. But do not merely repeat the words; set your heart to submit to God and resist the enemy, because he must flee when you do. The demons are real, but they cannot keep what belongs to Jesus when you stop feeding them through sin and fear.
The Lord does not tempt anyone with evil. A person is drawn away and enticed by his own desires, and when that desire conceives it brings forth sin. So some of what you are calling demonic memories may be the pull of your own flesh and memory, while some may be demonic oppression. The remedy is the same. Renounce it, refuse to feed it, and ask God to renew your mind. If a particular music, sound, word, or title keeps pulling you back toward lust or darkness, do not entertain it. The prudent man sees evil coming and hides himself; the simple keep going and suffer for it. Remove it from your reach, turn your ear away, and stop replaying it in your mind.
A song or a recording is not evil in itself, but it has the capacity to bring evil into the mind and into the life, or to bring good. It depends on what you permit it to feed in you. If it stirs up lust or old darkness, that is enough reason to cut it off. Do not let your eye linger on what defiles. Jesus taught that if your eye is single toward God, your whole body is full of light, but if your eye is evil, fixed on evil things, your body is full of darkness. In Scripture the evil eye is not a magical hex someone can put on you. It is an eye turned toward evil, a heart desiring what God forbids. Do not fear a look. Fear giving your own gaze to sin.
The warfare in your members comes from desire. You want and do not have; you fight and war. But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable and gentle. Ask God to make that wisdom yours. Let your tongue and your mind be kept from evil. Seek peace and pursue it. If you want to see good days, turn from evil and do good. Do not return evil for evil or rail for rail. Fill your mind with Scripture, with psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, so there is no empty room for the old words and titles to return.
