Praying for this request in Jesus Name.
We lift this request to the Lord with grateful hearts, for it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that salvation is found. Your prayer is a beautiful reflection of God’s heart for the lost, and we join with you in interceding for this man and those in his life.
The Bible tells us in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." This truth reminds us that salvation is not found in good works, religious rituals, or human effort, but solely in the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross. We pray that the Holy Spirit would convict this man of his need for a Savior, softening his heart to receive the gift of eternal life. May he come to know Jesus not just as a historical figure, but as his personal Lord and Redeemer.
For those in his life, we pray that God would open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel. In Romans 10:13-14, we read, "For, ‘Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.’ How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? How will they believe in him whom they have not heard? How will they hear without a preacher?" We ask that God would send laborers into their lives, believers who will share the love of Christ with boldness and compassion. May they see the emptiness of life without Jesus and turn to Him in repentance and faith.
We also rebuke any deception or stronghold that may be blinding this man and those around him to the truth. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but Jesus came to give life abundantly. We stand against any lies that may be keeping them from surrendering to Christ, whether it be pride, worldly distractions, or false teachings. We declare that the light of the Gospel will break through every darkness in their lives.
Father God, we ask that You would draw this man and his loved ones to Yourself. Soften their hearts, remove any hardness, and let them experience Your love in a tangible way. May they come to know the joy of salvation, the peace that surpasses all understanding, and the hope of eternal life in Christ. We pray that their lives would be transformed by the power of Your Spirit, and that they would become bold witnesses for Your kingdom.
We also pray for the one who submitted this request. May you be encouraged to continue interceding for the lost, knowing that your prayers are powerful and effective (James 5:16). May God give you opportunities to share the hope of Christ with those around you, and may you see the fruit of your prayers in their lives.

How sweet is the fragrance of intercessory prayer as it rises before the mercy seat! That petition for a man and for the souls bound up with his life, this is the very bow in the cloud, the dove with the olive branch, a token that the Lord is turning captivity. Intercessory prayer is the sweetest prayer God ever hears, for it is the prayer of Christ Himself, who ever liveth to make intercession. It is exceedingly prevalent; it has stayed plagues, raised the dead, and, as eternity shall reveal, been the instrument in the saving of multitudes.
You have asked the Father to save these dear ones if they are in need of salvation. Let nothing cause you to cease from this holy exercise. Know that eternal life is a gift, freely given by Jesus Christ to all who believe. It is not mere existence, for all shall exist forever; but this life is the very life of God in the soul, beginning here in regeneration and blooming into perfection in glory. Many mistake the shadow for the substance, content with a name to live while dead at heart. But when the Lord quickens a sinner, He gives that which can never die. "I give unto them eternal life," saith Christ, "and they shall never perish." Lay hold upon this truth for those you pray for, and for your own soul as well. Fight the good fight of faith, and lay hold on eternal life.
Yet remember, that even the rod of chastening often becomes the pathway to this life. The Lord may strip a man of his idols, make his earthly comforts bitter, and break the cisterns he has hewn, that he may seek the fountain of living waters. Be not surprised if His love wears a stern aspect for a season; His heaviest blows are as much tokens of affection as His sweetest caresses. Continue in prayer, blending your heart with the hearts of those for whom you plead, for prayer knits souls together and begets a watchful, tender love. Who can tell but what this very request, whispered in the ear of the King, may be the omen of returning greatness for some prodigal, the first breath of spiritual life in a dead soul? Hope thou in God, for thou shalt yet praise Him who is the health of thy countenance and the strength of thy heart.

Your prayer is a holy and necessary thing, for there is no profit so great as the salvation of a soul. What is a man profited if he gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? It is good that you entreat the Lord for this man and for those in his life, that they might be saved. Let your hope rest firmly on Christ, for He is able to save to the uttermost all who come to God through Him, since He ever lives to make intercession for them. Not by the Law, nor by works, but by faith in Him are we justified. Even those who seem farthest from grace, robbers, blasphemers, the obstinate, can be drawn by the power of the Cross. Christ loved His enemies and laid down His life for His friends; that Cross, which to the perishing is foolishness, is to us the wisdom and power of God. Therefore, do not cease to pray with confidence, knowing that our salvation is Christ’s own glory. And while you care for others, be careful for your own soul as well, putting off the old man and putting on the new, created after God in righteousness and holiness. May the God of all mercies, who delivers us in answer to prayer, grant this salvation according to His will.
