We lift up these precious souls to You, Father, with hearts burdened for their salvation. The Bible tells us, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life" (John 3:16). We know that salvation is found in no one else but Jesus Christ, for "there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12). We pray that these individuals, this boy, this man, these four people, and all those in their lives, would come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior. May their hearts be softened to receive the truth of Your Word, and may they turn from darkness to light, from the power of Satan to God, so that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Christ (Acts 26:18).

We also stand against the enemy’s schemes, for we know that "our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places" (Ephesians 6:12). We rebuke every demonic influence, every spirit of deception, and every foul odor of darkness that seeks to cling to Your children. We declare that "He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world" (1 John 4:4), and we command every unclean spirit to flee in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We plead the blood of Jesus over these lives, that they may be set free from every chain and walk in the freedom that only Christ can give.

Father, we ask that You would send laborers into the harvest fields of these souls (Matthew 9:38). May Your Holy Spirit convict them of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8), and may they respond in repentance and faith. We pray for divine encounters, dreams, visions, godly conversations, and the witness of Your Word, that would draw them to Yourself. Let no one be lost, Lord, but let all come to the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:4).

We also pray for the one who submitted this request. May You strengthen their faith as they intercede for others. Remind them that "the prayer of the righteous is powerful and effective" (James 5:16), and that You hear the cries of Your children. Fill them with hope and perseverance as they stand in the gap for these souls.

Heavenly Father, we trust in Your mercy and grace. We believe that You are able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to You through Jesus Christ (Hebrews 7:25). May these lives be transformed by the power of the Gospel, and may they become beacons of Your light in this dark world. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We hear the weight behind your words, the longing for people you name (a boy, a man, four others, and the circles around them) to know God’s saving grace. That ache for others is something we share with you. And we also hear your own cry for freedom from what feels like oppressive spiritual forces. It’s not unusual for followers of Jesus to face periods where spiritual attack feels tangible; the important thing is to stay anchored in the One who has already won the victory.

When we feel harassed by what you describe as “smell demons,” we don’t need to figure out the details to pray; we simply bring that whole experience to Christ. He knows exactly what is happening. In our own ministry, we’ve found it helpful to keep focused not on naming or analyzing the dark, but on filling your mind with truth, rehearsing who Jesus is, what He has done for you, and that He is your defender. If the sensations or thoughts persist, we also gently suggest speaking with a pastor or mature believer you trust who can pray with you in person; sometimes just having another person stand with you makes a difference.

Meanwhile, we join you in lifting that boy, that man, those four people, and every life connected to them. Salvation is God’s work, and He is patient and kind. You can trust Him with their stories even when you can’t see the outcome.

Jesus, thank you that you hear our anonymous friend’s heart. We ask you to draw each person they named into the safety of your salvation. Open their eyes to your love. For our friend, we ask for deliverance from whatever seeks to oppress or confuse; quiet every harmful influence and fill them instead with your peace and clarity. In your strong name, Jesus. Your prayer for the salvation of these souls rises as incense, but know this: the Holy Spirit maketh intercession for the saints alone, not for the unregenerate. If you would see these persons delivered from the pit, you must first be certain you yourself have fled to Christ for refuge. Have you looked to Him who is the only ransom? Salvation is not found in the earnestness of our pleading, but in the finished work of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. He brought them forth with silver and gold, every deliverance is His, and His alone. Until you are washed in the fountain filled with blood, your prayers lack the intercession of the Spirit within you.

As for these demons you name, whether small or foul, the Lord hath given you an explicit word: Look unto Me, and be ye saved. Fix your gaze steadily upon Jesus crucified, and let Him bruise Satan under your feet. Do not waste your breath cataloguing the stench of hell; flee the city of destruction and cling to the cross. The clock of mercy will strike for every soul here remembered when the eternal purpose decrees it, then shall they be brought forth with silver and gold, enriched by the free grace of God. What I desire for you, and for all you name, is that most scriptural salvation: believing on the Lord Jesus Christ, with all your weight resting upon Him. Go, then, to the very ends of the earth with this message, and in your going, speak plainly to these perishing ones. The water of life stands ready; you cannot make the horse drink, but you may lead him to the well.

You show a tender heart in praying for the salvation of others, and this is a holy impulse. Yet let us consider the whole counsel of God. It is not one part alone that secures our salvation; you must be freed from riches, yes, but also be manly in virtue, and give careful, continual hearing to the word. No single part is sufficient. So while you rightly seek the salvation of that boy, those people, and that man, have you yourself laid hold of this full deliverance from all worldly things? For He is able to save to the uttermost those who come to God by Him, since He ever lives to make intercession for them. But you cry out also to be delivered from smell demons and all demons. Why do you name these things with such particularity, as if the stench of the pit were the chief affliction? The demons are real, but do you not see you give them too much attention? When you ought rather to say, "Blessed are You, O Lord, who nourishes me," you dwell on their supposed torments. Be not like the unreasoning dog that barks at its master while receiving good things. The beseeching of God must be without wrath and with holy hands lifted up. If you nurse such fears and fixations, you thrust a sword into your own soul at the very moment you plead for mercy.

Behold, now is the acceptable time; now is the day of salvation. Use this hour not to catalog every specter that frightens you, but to run to the High Priest who ever intercedes. Your prayer for others is good, for we are comforted for the consolation and salvation of many. But if you remain soft and unmanly, careless in hearing, still entangled in superstition, what hope have you? The Devil and his demons take up the one from whom God turns away because of ingratitude and blasphemy. Do not be that person. Instead, let your life be worthy of the faith, so that His name is not blasphemed through you. Entreat Him to open your mouth for what builds up, to vouchsafe a life of patient endurance. Christ died and intercedes not from any need, but to show the vigorous warmth of His love. Trust that love. Cease from naming every fear as if it held power, and cling to the salvation wrought by His dispensation. Pray for those souls, yes, but first ensure your own deliverance from the love of this world and from a heart that looks more to the demons than to the Lord of all.
