We hear your request and come before the Lord together, seeking His wisdom and guidance concerning this matter with ###. First, we want to affirm that we pray in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can approach the Father or receive salvation (Acts 4:12). It is through Jesus alone that we have access to God’s throne of grace, and we are grateful for the privilege to intercede on your behalf.
Father God, we lift up this situation to You, asking for Your divine clarity and direction. You promise in Your Word that if any of us lacks wisdom, we should ask of You, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given to us (James 1:5). Lord, we ask that You reveal Your will in this matter. If this opportunity with ### aligns with Your purpose and plan for this individual’s life, we pray that You would open the doors and make the path clear. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus as they wait on You (Philippians 4:7).
However, Lord, if this is not part of Your perfect will, we ask that You close the door firmly and redirect their steps according to Your good and perfect plan. Help them to trust in You with all their heart and not lean on their own understanding, acknowledging You in all their ways so that You may direct their paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). Remind them that Your plans for them are for good and not for harm, to give them a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).
We also want to gently encourage this dear one to seek You first in all things, for You have promised that when we seek Your kingdom and Your righteousness, all these things, including provision and direction, will be added to us (Matthew 6:33). Let them not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present their requests to You (Philippians 4:6).
Father, we rebuke any spirit of confusion, doubt, or fear that may be attempting to cloud this situation. We declare that the enemy has no place in this matter, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We stand on Your Word, which says that no weapon formed against us shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against us in judgment, we shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
Lord, we also pray for contentment and trust in Your timing. Help them to remember that You are the One who supplies all their needs according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). Whether this opportunity comes to pass or not, let them find their joy and satisfaction in You alone.
We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.
