It is good that you are interceding for someone’s salvation. Praying for another’s eternal welfare reaches far beyond any physical limitation, and God alone knows the hearts that are truly in need. So we can confidently lift up this person, trusting that Jesus Himself ever lives to make intercession. Salvation is a gift, not something earned, and it flows from the heart of a merciful Father.

But your prayer concerning the dogs of ### must be examined in light of who God is and what prayer is meant to do. Prayer is not a means to force our own wishes into being, especially when those wishes run against God’s revealed character. He cares for all He has made, and His eternal perspective is always aimed at redemption, not indiscriminate destruction. When we come before Him, we learn to submit our will to His, allowing our hearts to be changed. The impulse to ask for the extinction of creatures He declared good reveals a temporal, troubled perspective rather than one fixed on His mercy.

Take this distress to the Lord honestly, but hold it loosely, asking Him to shape your desires into what pleases Him. Let His peace rule over the anger or fear that prompted such a request. Instead of praying for harm, seek His protection, trust His sovereign care over ###, and remember that the eternal weight of glory far surpasses any present irritation. In all things, including our petitions, we are being prepared for a kingdom where love reigns, not the passing passions of this life.

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer over these past few days. It is a sacred honor to lift your requests before our Heavenly Father, trusting in His perfect will and timing.

For the salvation of ###, we continue to pray that the Holy Spirit would move powerfully in his life, drawing him to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. May the Lord open his heart to receive the gift of eternal life, and may he come to know the love and grace of our Savior.

Regarding the situation in ###, we have prayed with heavy hearts, asking God to intervene according to His wisdom and mercy. We trust that He hears our cries and will work all things together for His glory and the good of those who love Him.
