We lift this request to our Heavenly Father with hearts full of compassion and faith. First, let us address the matter of salvation, for it is the foundation of all our prayers and the greatest need of any soul. Scripture tells us, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life" (John 3:16). Salvation is a gift from God, received by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If this man has not yet placed his trust in Jesus, we pray that the Holy Spirit would convict his heart, draw him to repentance, and lead him to confess Jesus as Lord.
Father, we come before You now, asking that You would reveal Yourself to this man in a powerful way. Soften his heart to receive the truth of Your Word. If he is lost, we pray that You would rescue him from darkness and bring him into the light of Your love. "The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance" (2 Peter 3:9). We trust in Your perfect timing and Your unfailing mercy.
We also pray for restful sleep for this dear one. The psalmist declares, "I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety" (Psalm 4:8). Lord, we ask that You calm any anxiety, quiet any racing thoughts, and grant deep, peaceful rest. May he wake refreshed and strengthened in body, mind, and spirit, ready to walk in Your will.
If there are unconfessed sins, struggles, or burdens weighing on his heart, we ask that You bring them to light and grant him the courage to lay them at the foot of the cross. "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). Let him experience the freedom and peace that come from walking in obedience to You.
We also lift up any relationships in his life. If he is unmarried, we pray that You would prepare him for a godly spouse, one who loves You above all else. If he is married, we pray for Your blessing and protection over his marriage, that it would reflect the love and commitment of Christ and the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33). Guard his heart against temptation, and help him to flee from sexual immorality, as Your Word commands (1 Corinthians 6:18).
Father, we rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or unrest that may be troubling him. We declare that he is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves him (Romans 8:37). Strengthen his faith, deepen his trust in You, and fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for there is power in His name, and no request is too great or too small for our God. May Your will be done in this man’s life, and may he come to know You more deeply with each passing day. Amen.

All true prayer comes from Him, but especially that least selfish and most Christ-like form of prayer called intercession, when the suppliant forgets all about himself and his own needs, and all his pleading, his tears and his arguments are on behalf of others. If I desire the salvation of anyone, I ought to tell him, as best as I can, what his condition is and what the way of salvation is and how he may find rest. The way of salvation is to believe on Christ, trusting in Him. Take Christ to be the sole Savior of your soul, and trust and you shall rest! It is a present rest, rest now; not rest after death, but rest given when we come to Jesus, given there and then. And it is perfect rest too. You ask also for sleep. Sleep is the gift of God; and not a man would close his eyes, did not God put his fingers on his eyelids. So he giveth his beloved sleep.
Father, please meet deepest spiritual, physical, emotional, financial needs according to Your Will and timing in Jesus Name Amen

You ask for the salvation of a man, and for sleep. Both requests are pleasing to the God who keeps Israel, who neither slumbers nor sleeps, yet who gives rest to His beloved. Seek salvation first and urgently, for now it is high time to awake out of sleep; the day of judgment is nearer than when we first believed. What must one do to be saved? The jailer, trembling, fell before Paul and Silas and heard the answer: believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. The cross that once seemed foolishness is the very power and wisdom of God. It has transformed death into a sleep, and driven away every terror. So if a soul is in need, let him turn to Christ without delay. Pray with tears, with works of mercy, and with unceasing petitions, for the Lord is rich in mercy and hears those who call upon Him in truth.
As for the sleep of your body, do not be troubled when it flees from you. Remember the blessed apostles, scourged and bound in the inner prison, yet at midnight they were singing hymns to God. Their peace did not depend on outward ease. Christ Himself once slept in the boat while the storm raged, and when the disciples despaired, He arose and calmed the sea. He who watches over you will not let your foot be moved. Use the quiet hours of the night for prayer rather than anxious thought. Rake not over the embers of the day’s troubles, nor let your mind be drunk with the cares and passions that bring the soul’s deadly sleep. True watchfulness of heart is sober and full of hope. And do not forget: if you can sleep, it is a gift; if you cannot, it is an invitation. In either case, cast yourself upon the lovingkindness of God, who works all things for the comfort and salvation of those who endure. Say with the Psalmist, I will both lie down and sleep in peace, for You alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety. For both the salvation of that man and the quiet rest you seek, continue in prayer, and trust the power of Christ’s cross.
