Beloved of All
heavenly father pls for the rain to cease before 6pm. pls for no animals to have a commotion in the woods. in jesus christ name. amen.

We come before You, Heavenly Father, with this earnest request for Your mercy and intervention. You are the Creator of the heavens and the earth, the One who commands the wind and the rain. We acknowledge Your sovereign power over all creation, and we humbly ask that You would cause the rain to cease before 6 pm, according to Your perfect will. Your Word reminds us in Psalm 147:8 that You "cover the sky with clouds, who prepare rain for the earth, who make grass grow on the mountains." We trust in Your timing and Your goodness, knowing that You work all things together for the good of those who love You (Romans 8:28).

We also lift up the concern for the animals in the woods, asking that You would bring peace and calm among them. You are the God who cares for all of Your creation, as it is written in Matthew 6:26, "See the birds of the sky, that they don’t sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you of much more value than they?" We pray that the animals would not be distressed or disturbed, but that they would find rest and safety under Your watchful care.

Father, we are grateful that this prayer is lifted up in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name by which we can come before You. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" We thank You for the access we have to Your throne of grace through Jesus, and we pray that You would hear and answer this request according to Your will.

Lord, we also ask that You would guard our hearts and minds against fear or anxiety as we wait for Your answer. Help us to trust in You completely, casting all our cares upon You, for You care for us (1 Peter 5:7). May we find peace in knowing that You are in control, and that Your plans for us are good.

We pray all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Let us take comfort in the knowledge that God hears our prayers and that He is faithful to answer them according to His perfect will. Even when we do not see immediate results, we can trust that He is working behind the scenes for our good. Let us continue to seek Him, to trust in Him, and to give Him thanks in all circumstances, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning us (1 Thessalonians 5:18).

We join you in asking God for a peaceful evening, dry skies before 6pm and a quiet woods. It is a comfort to know we can bring every practical detail to our Father, confident He cares even about the weather and the creatures He made.

We remember how Jesus once spoke to a storm and the winds and waves obeyed. He is just as able to settle the rain and keep the animals calm today. As you watch the sky and listen, perhaps take a moment to thank Him for His care over creation, and then leave the outcome with Him, trusting His goodness however He answers.

Father, we lift up this request to You. If it is Your will, hold back the rain before six and hush any commotion in the woods. Grant safety and quiet, and grant peace to this person’s heart while they wait. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

The petition you have put before the throne of grace is marked by its simplicity, rain to cease, creatures to be stilled, and it has in it the very essence of faith, for it deals with things too small for the proud to bring before the Most High. Yet what is rain but the gift of God alone? Who has divided a channel for the overflowing water, or a path for the thunderbolt, to cause it to rain on the earth where there is no one? It is the Lord who gives rain, and it is the Lord who withholds it, and so to Him you do well to look. But while you ask for the ceasing of the outward shower, I would have you seek a far greater mercy: that the latter rain of His grace might fall upon your own soul. As the former rain comes at the seed-time and the latter just before the harvest, so has the Lord visited you in days past; entreat Him now that the clear shining after rain may break forth, and that the tender herb of your faith, now perhaps drooping under the drip of many a trial, may spring up afresh.

Consider how the small rain falls upon the tender herb, not to beat it down as with a tempest, but to enter it, so that the herb might drink in nourishment and be truly refreshed. The highest power in the spiritual kingdom is ever consistent with the lowliest tenderness. You have cried out for the rain of outward affliction to pass; but have you seized upon the inward refreshment which the Master would work through this very weather? Sometimes the rain must fall while the burning sun of our fears is shaded, lest we be scorched. The Lord, in His preserving Providence, often goes before us with blessings of goodness we neither sought nor deserved, sending His rain upon the desolate and waste ground to satisfy it. Trust, then, that whether the rain ceases before the hour you have named, or tarries longer, His design is to do you good. Yield yourself to the congenial atmosphere the Spirit would create: a holy tenderness, a devout heartbreaking. For if you love Him, He seems in softer, sweeter tones to say, “If you love Me, cease your sorrow and begin to rejoice.”

But there is a deeper thing I would press upon you, for we are prone to settle upon the mere outsides of faith. What if the Lord, by withholding an immediate answer, means to make use of you to advance His glory where your reliance has never yet been known? Set not your confidence upon the arrangement of the skies, nor upon the stillness of the woods, but upon Jesus only. He is the ladder set up from earth to heaven, and many a stout sinner has run up it with a weight of sin enough to crush the heavens into hell, yet the ladder has never broken. You are, perhaps, a soul of tender conscience, and these small outward things unnerve you; but I charge you, sit down now and take stock. Would the defection of a creature’s quiet, or the continuance of a storm, shake your trust in Christ? Remember the Master’s own words: before the trial comes, love Him and keep His commandments, and when it stands before you, love Him as the Source of your hope, your pardon, your life.

Look then for the clear shining that follows the rain. You will get into times of infirmity when there will be rain, and rain, and rain, and perhaps little sunshine. Yet expect that you will come to the land of Beulah. The aged saints have told of the rain, the children dying, the poverty passed through, the persecution endured, but they have also told of the clear shining after it. The Lord reserves for us the appointed weeks of harvest. Only let your love for Him be the coin that is current in the skies, for whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; but he that loves possesses that which goes on forever. Lay hold upon this, and let your Beloved come into your heart, standing before you with scars of honor in His flesh and triumph in His eyes. Then, whether the rain ceases by the sixth hour, or the woods stir with the beasts of the field, you shall stand unshaken, watered by the small rain of His doctrine, and made tender by His grace.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You bring your request for the rain to cease and the woods to be still, fearing perhaps some trouble from beasts. But consider this: the rain that falls is not without purpose. As the teaching of the Gospel is called rain in Scripture, watering the soul, so the rain upon the earth is under the command of the Master who rebuked the wind and waves, and there was a great calm. He needs no rod, no outstretched hands, but speaks, and creation obeys.

Why then does He permit the rain to continue? Does He not permit trials to stir us up, to make us more earnest, and to draw us near to Him? The soul at ease is listless, fluttered by every trifle. But a little distress drives us to seek comfort, and what greater comfort than to cast ourselves upon His lovingkindness? Do not see the rain as an enemy, but as a summons to patience. The fear of animals in the woods is another such trial. God does not give us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. If He allows a commotion, it is that you might call upon Him and find Him a present help.

Cease then from anxious pleading that all be arranged according to your own hour. Rather pray that His will be done, and that your heart be kept in peace regardless of the weather or the stirring of creatures. If the rain ceases before six, give thanks. If it continues, give thanks still, for He makes all things work together for good to those who love Him. And as for the animals, He who shut the mouths of lions can quiet the beasts of the forest. Trust in His care, which extends even to the sparrow's fall, and you will find your fear replaced by the calm that He alone commands.

How quickly our hearts turn to the God who commands the rain. You have asked him to still the storm before the appointed hour and to quiet the animals in the woods, and he is not deaf to such a request. The same voice that once said, “There shall not be dew nor rain except by my word,” is still sovereign over every cloud and creature. None of the false securities of this world can produce a single shower or hold one back; the Lord alone gives the heavens their orders. So you have done the one thing needful by bringing this directly to him in Jesus’ name.

Think of how the animals entered the ark in an orderly procession, no panic, no commotion, because the One who made them set their bounds. In the beginning, every beast lived on the grass of the field, no predator, no prey, all at peace under the care of God. He still quiets the wild things when he wills. And if he could keep the miscarriages from Jacob’s flocks through diligent watching, and seal the mouths of creatures as the floodgates opened, then a stretch of woods and an evening hour are no challenge to his authority.

But notice how the scripture never hides that waiting is part of the pattern. Before the downpour stopped, Noah had to watch forty days of descending water, and then many more months while the earth slowly drank it back. Elijah, who had the direct promise that rain would come, still knelt and prayed seven times before the first cloud appeared. The early and latter rains are worth the waiting because the fruit they nourish is precious. So while you ask in earnest hope, I would gently remind you that whether the rain ceases before six or after, your Father’s timing is not failure. His eye is upon you, and not a single soggy leaf falls without his notice.

Pray with persistence because you have the promise that he hears, yet rest because you are not praying to an idol of the woodlands but to the living God who made all these things. Let your heart not be chapped like ground in drought, but softened in trust. He may lift the rain early so that no chariot is hindered, yours included, and he may lull the animals to silence, for the eye of their Maker is upon them too. Wait for him, for the effectual, fervent prayer of a righteous person, laid before the throne through Christ, accomplishes much.
