God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. We lift this heartfelt request to our Heavenly Father, who cares deeply for all His creation. The Bible tells us in Psalm 145:9, "The Lord is good to all. He has compassion on all he has made." We join with you in praying for peace among the wild animals and for God’s provision in their lives.

Father, we ask that You calm any commotion in the woods and bring harmony among the creatures You have made. Let the lion lie down with the lamb, as it is written in Isaiah 11:6, "The wolf will live with the lamb, and the leopard will lie down with the young goat; the calf, the young lion, and the fattened calf together; and a little child will lead them." We trust in Your power to bring peace where there is strife.

Lord, we also pray for Your provision for the animals. You feed the birds of the air and clothe the lilies of the field, as Jesus reminds us in Matthew 6:26, "See the birds of the sky, that they don’t sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you of much more value than they?" We ask that You bless the animals with the food and sustenance they need to thrive.

We thank You for Your faithfulness and for hearing our prayers. May Your will be done in all creation, and may Your name be glorified. In Jesus Christ’s name, we pray. Amen.

Lord Jesus, You made the wild things and call each one by name. We ask today for quiet in the woods, for an end to whatever stirs them up, and for the peaceful order You designed. Provide for every animal the food it needs, and let them live without frantic struggle. Thank You that You care for all Your creatures, and that You listen when we pray about even the smallest parts of Your world. It is no small thing to bring even the brute creation before the throne of grace, for the Lord formed them all and takes pleasure in the works of His hand. His eye sees every sparrow that falls, and the cattle on a thousand hills are His. The instincts of the wild creatures, their food, and their dwellings are appointed by Him who causes the grass to grow for the cattle and herb for the service of man. When the young lions roar after their prey, they seek their meat from God. So your prayer is neither foolish nor vain; it springs from a right sense that the Creator upholds all things by the word of His power.

Yet mark this: the commotion in the woods mirrors a deeper disquiet. The creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of Him who subjected the same in hope. The wolf and the lamb do not yet lie down together because the creation groaneth in travail, waiting for the manifestation of the sons of God. That perfect peace for which you long among the beasts will come only when the Prince of Peace fully restores all things. Even now, His mercy is over all His works, and He can restrain the strife of the forest as easily as He hushed the storm on Galilee. But the ground of our asking must ever be the blood of Jesus, which whispers peace within. Without that, the whole world is but a troubled sea.

Pray then with confidence, yet look beyond the woods to the new creation. The Spirit who once brooded over the face of the deep still moves upon the hearts of men, and in the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, the enmity is slain. Go in peace as you commit the animals to their Maker’s care. But above all, seek that peace which passeth understanding, peace in believing, a well-founded peace that comes from trusting Him who feeds the ravens and clothes the lilies. Let your mind be stayed on Him, and He will keep you in peace, peace, while you rejoice in His providence both in nature and in grace.

True is the prayer that seeks God's provision for the creatures, for He opens His hand and fills all things living with plenteousness. The wild beasts roar after their prey and seek their meat from God; it is a good thing to entreat the Father that all might have their proper food without commotion. Yet consider this: the commotion in the woods is not always an evil thing. Concord is not in every case a good, since even robbers agree together.

The lion and the lamb shall lie down together only when the earth is full of the knowledge of the Lord, but in this present age the creation groans, awaiting its deliverance. That the beasts fill their bellies without violence is a kindly request, but let this turn your thoughts to a greater matter. How many are careful about their dogs, that they may not be filled with more than the proper food, and the brute creatures they teach to exercise philosophy, while for themselves they have no care to avoid luxury. You have prayed for the animals, and this is well, for many laws are laid down even for sparrows.

But do not make your own soul more worthless than all beside. The creatures eat what God provides and do not make provision for the flesh to fulfill the lusts thereof. Do you then become as they in this, seeking only necessaries and not wantonness, spending your chief industry on the care of spiritual things. For where the body is cared for only to health, there peace is the mother of all good, and that peace you have asked for the woods will first bloom in your own heart.

It touches the heart to hear someone pray for the peace of the wild places. That desire for harmony among the creatures, for quiet in the woods, and for every animal to be fed with what it needs, reflects something God has planted deep in us. Scripture itself shows the Lord speaking to Job about the mountain goats and the wild donkeys, the ravens and the lions. He knows when they bring forth their young, and He spreads a table for them in the wilderness. Nothing escapes His notice. So when we bring even this request before the Father in Jesus’ name, we are not asking for something trivial; we are aligning our hearts with His watchful care over all things.

There is a peace that runs through creation when it rests under His command. We see a glimpse of that peace in the way Jesus, after His baptism, was with the wild beasts in the desert and yet remained unharmed, ministered to by angels. The One who calmed the raging sea and commanded unclean spirits to hold their peace has authority over every commotion. So we can confidently ask that His order and calm would settle over the forest and its inhabitants.

Yet the deepest peace we ever experience begins inside us, not around us. The Bible tells us that God will keep in perfect peace the one whose mind is stayed on Him, because that one trusts in Him. Before we can know that gift fully, we first need peace with God through Jesus Christ, who made peace by His blood. That ends the war within our own souls, a turmoil far greater than any noise among animals. When we stop running from Him and instead turn our lives over to Him, the inner fighting ceases. The restless heart finds rest. Then, even as we walk through a world of chaos, we carry the peace of Christ, a peace the world cannot give and cannot understand.

So yes, let us pray that the creatures live without needless fear and that they receive their food from the Lord’s hand. But may that prayer also lead you into a still deeper trust. As you fix your thoughts on Him, you can release every worry, not only about the animals, but about your own life, and know that He is taking care of it. His wisdom is peaceable, and those who sow peace will reap the fruit of righteousness. God has ordained peace for you, and He is extending that peace through His Son to everyone who will receive it, whether they are far off or near.

Lord, we thank You that You care for the wild goats and the sparrows, and that the forest is never beyond Your reach. Quiet what agitates the animals, provide them their proper food, and let the woods be still under Your watch. And for the one who prays this, grant that perfect peace that comes from a mind stayed on You. May they know the peace of sins forgiven and a life no longer at odds with You, through Jesus Christ. Amen.
