We lift this request before the throne of grace with hearts full of compassion and hope. It is clear that the desire for this certain person to receive assistance and salvation is deeply felt, and we join in this plea with fervent prayer.
First, we must acknowledge that salvation comes only through faith in Jesus Christ, as the Word of God declares: "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life" (John 3:16 WEB). There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We pray that this person would come to know Jesus as Lord and Savior, repenting of sin and turning to Him in faith.
We also recognize that assistance, whether spiritual, emotional, or physical, flows from the hand of God. He is our Helper, our Refuge, and our Strength (Psalm 46:1). Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble hearts, interceding for this precious soul You have placed on our hearts. Lord, we ask that You would draw them to Yourself, softening their heart to receive the truth of the Gospel. Remove any blindness or hardness, and let Your Holy Spirit convict them of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8). May they confess with their mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in their heart that You raised Him from the dead, so that they may be saved (Romans 10:9).
Father, we also ask that You provide the assistance they need, whether it be wisdom, provision, healing, or guidance. You know their every need before they even ask (Matthew 6:8). Surround them with godly influences, open doors of opportunity, and let Your peace guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Lord, if there is any unconfessed sin, rebellion, or resistance to Your will in their life, we ask that You break every chain and set them free. Your Word says that "if we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). May they experience the freedom and joy that comes from walking in Your ways.
We also pray for those around them, family, friends, or even strangers, who may be instruments of Your grace. Use us, Lord, to be a light in their darkness, a voice of truth in their confusion, and a hand of love in their time of need.
Above all, we ask that Your will be done in this person’s life, for You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). May they come to know You not just as Savior, but as the Lord of their life, surrendering every area to Your perfect plan.
We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Redeemer. Amen.
Let us hold fast to the promise that God is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). We encourage you to continue praying faithfully for this person, trusting that God hears and answers the cries of His children. If there are specific ways you feel led to minister to them, through words of encouragement, acts of service, or sharing the Gospel, step out in obedience, knowing that the Holy Spirit will guide you. May the Lord bless you as you intercede on their behalf.
