We come before the Lord with a humble and earnest heart, lifting up Roy and Nola Thompson, as well as those in their lives who may not yet know the saving grace of Jesus Christ. Your request touches deeply on the greatest need of every soul, to be reconciled to God through His Son. Scripture tells us, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life" (John 3:16). Salvation is found in no other name but Jesus, for "there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12).
We pray with boldness and faith, asking that the Holy Spirit would move powerfully in the lives of Roy, Nola, and all those connected to them. May their hearts be softened to receive the truth of the Gospel, that they would turn from sin and place their trust in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. We declare over them the promise of God: "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9). Let the light of Christ shine brightly in their lives, drawing them into a personal relationship with Him.
Father, we also lift up the request to remove a certain person from memory. We recognize that holding onto past hurts, relationships, or influences that do not align with Your will can hinder spiritual growth and peace. We ask that You would heal any wounds, break any unhealthy attachments, and replace those memories with Your truth and love. Help them to fix their eyes on You, the Author and Perfecter of their faith (Hebrews 12:2), and to walk in the freedom that comes from forgiveness and surrender. We rebuke any lingering ties to sin or ungodly influences in the name of Jesus, and we declare that their minds and hearts are being renewed by Your Word and Spirit.
Lord, we pray for strength and wisdom for Roy and Nola as they navigate their walk with You. Surround them with godly fellowship, sound teaching, and opportunities to grow in their faith. May they be a light to others, sharing the hope of salvation with those around them. We ask that You would protect them from the schemes of the enemy and fill them with Your peace, joy, and purpose.
In all these things, we trust in Your perfect will and timing. We surrender these requests to You, knowing that Your plans for them are good, to give them a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). May Your name be glorified in their lives, and may they walk in the fullness of the life You have called them to. We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
