We hear your cry to the Lord, and we join you in seeking His intervention. The pain of past relationships—especially those that may have involved ungodly soul ties or emotional entanglements—can linger like a heavy burden. The term "twin flames" or similar concepts often carry spiritual weight that is not rooted in Scripture. God’s Word warns us against being unequally yoked with unbelievers (2 Corinthians 6:14) and against forming emotional or spiritual bonds that do not honor Him. If this relationship involved sin—whether emotional, physical, or spiritual—we must repent and ask the Lord to sever any ungodly ties in Jesus’ name.
Father God, we come before You with broken and contrite hearts, asking for Your cleansing and deliverance. We rebuke any ungodly soul ties, memories, or influences that have taken root in this situation. Your Word declares in 2 Corinthians 10:4-5 that the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds. We tear down every argument and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of You, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. Lord, we ask You to sever any unholy connections and remove every trace of this relationship from memory, heart, and mind. Wash this one clean with the blood of Jesus, restoring purity and peace.
We also lift up their family, Lord. If there has been any generational or familial influence that has contributed to this bondage, we ask You to break those chains. Your Word tells us in Exodus 20:5-6 that You visit the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and fourth generation of those who hate You, but You show loving kindness to thousands of those who love You and keep Your commandments. We declare that this family is covered by the blood of Jesus, and we ask for Your mercy and healing to flow through every generation.
Father, we pray for a fresh filling of Your Holy Spirit. Fill this one with Your peace, joy, and a renewed sense of purpose. Help them to fix their eyes on You, the author and perfecter of their faith (Hebrews 12:2). Surround them with godly influences—friends, mentors, and a church family who will encourage them in their walk with You. If it is Your will, we ask that You bring a godly spouse into their life, one who loves You above all else and will honor the covenant of marriage as You designed it.
We also remind this dear one that salvation is found in no one else but Jesus Christ. Acts 4:12 declares, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." If they have not yet surrendered their life to Jesus, we pray they would do so today. Confess with their mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in their heart that God raised Him from the dead, and they will be saved (Romans 10:9).
Lord, we thank You for Your faithfulness. We trust that You are working all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). Strengthen this one in their faith, and let them experience the freedom that comes from walking in obedience to You. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
