We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this burden of torment from demonic memories, sounds, and words that plague you. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but we stand firm on the promise that Jesus came so that you may have life—and have it abundantly (John 10:10). The name of Jesus is not just a closing to a prayer; it is the very power by which every chain is broken, every stronghold is demolished, and every lying spirit must flee. There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).
We rebuke every evil spirit assigned to harass your mind, your memories, and your peace. The Word declares that the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, casting down every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:4-5). We command these demonic forces to loose their grip in the mighty name of Jesus. You have no authority here, and you must go now, for greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
We pray for the cleansing of your mind and spirit. The blood of Jesus, shed on the cross, washes away every stain, every memory of defilement, and every whisper of the enemy. Let the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and your mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We declare that you are a new creation in Christ; the old things have passed away, and behold, all things have become new (2 Corinthians 5:17). The enemy may have meant these things for evil, but God will turn them for your good as you trust in Him (Genesis 50:20).
We encourage you to fill your mind with the truth of God’s Word. Meditate on Scripture day and night, for it is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105). Renew your mind with the promises of God, for as a man thinks in his heart, so is he (Proverbs 23:7). Do not give the enemy a foothold by dwelling on these memories or entertaining fear. Instead, take every thought captive and replace it with the truth of who you are in Christ—a beloved child of God, redeemed, forgiven, and set free.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
