We come before the Lord with a humble and repentant heart, lifting up this request in prayer. Father God, we acknowledge that anger and pride are not of You, for Your Word tells us in Proverbs 16:18 that "Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall." We also know that in Ephesians 4:31, we are instructed to "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice." We ask that You would cleanse this heart and mind of all unrighteous anger and pride, replacing them with Your love, humility, and peace.
Lord, we also bring before You the concern about the memory of this show. We know that Philippians 4:8 encourages us to focus on whatever is true, honorable, just, pure, lovely, and of good report. If this memory does not align with these virtues, we ask that You would remove it from this mind, replacing it with thoughts that honor You. We rebuke any influence that this show may have had, and we declare that this mind is being renewed by the power of Your Holy Spirit, as promised in Romans 12:2.
Heavenly Father, we also want to encourage this dear one to guard their heart and mind diligently, for as it says in Proverbs 4:23, "Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it is the wellspring of life." Let us be mindful of what we allow into our hearts and minds, for it will shape our thoughts, words, and actions.
We pray that You would fill this heart with Your Holy Spirit, empowering them to walk in love, humility, and self-control. May they find their strength and identity in Christ alone, and may they experience the freedom that comes from living a life that is pleasing to You.
Lord, we thank You for the power of the name of Jesus, for it is through His sacrifice and resurrection that we have access to You. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Let us also take a moment to reflect on the importance of filling our minds with godly things. In Psalm 101:3, David says, "I will set no wicked thing before my eyes." Let us strive to do the same, being intentional about what we watch, listen to, and think about. As we draw near to God, He promises to draw near to us (James 4:8). Let us seek Him with all our hearts, and He will be found by us.
