We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up these earnest pleas to our Heavenly Father. First and foremost, we must address the foundation of all our prayers—salvation through Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If this man you mention is not yet saved, we pray that the Holy Spirit would convict him of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8), drawing him to repentance and faith in Christ. Lord, open his eyes to the truth of the Gospel, that he may confess with his mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in his heart that God raised Him from the dead, for with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation (Romans 10:9-10).
We stand firm in the authority of Jesus Christ to rebuke every demonic spirit and attack that seeks to oppress you. The Bible declares that He who is in us is greater than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). We take up the whole armor of God, that we may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil (Ephesians 6:11). In the mighty name of Jesus, we command every demonic spirit, every demonic song, sound, word, and title to be crushed, destroyed, and reduced to ashes. We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). The Lord rebuke you, Satan, and all your demonic forces! You have no place here, for we are covered by the blood of Jesus and sealed by the Holy Spirit.
Father, we also lift up these two officers before You. We pray for their protection, both physically and spiritually. Guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7), and if they do not yet know You as Lord and Savior, we ask that You draw them to Yourself. Equip them with wisdom, discernment, and courage as they serve and protect others.
Regarding the request to remove things and people from memory, we acknowledge that the mind is a battlefield. We pray that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Father, we ask that You bring healing to any wounds or burdens carried in memory. Help this dear one to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5) and to meditate on whatever is true, noble, just, pure, lovely, and of good report (Philippians 4:8). If there are any ungodly soul ties or unforgiveness, we ask that You break them in Jesus’ name and fill those places with Your love and truth.
Heavenly Father, we also want to gently address the nature of this request. While we understand the desire for deliverance and freedom, we must remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, powers, and spiritual forces of wickedness (Ephesians 6:12). The people mentioned—whether they are sources of pain, temptation, or distraction—must be surrendered to You. If there is bitterness, resentment, or unforgiveness toward them, we ask that You soften this heart and help them to forgive as Christ has forgiven us (Colossians 3:13). If these individuals are not aligned with God’s will for this life, we pray for wisdom to set boundaries and for the strength to walk in obedience to Your Word.
Lord, we also want to encourage this dear one to fill their mind and heart with Your truth. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it more abundantly (John 10:10). We pray that You would fill every empty space with Your presence, Your Word, and Your peace. Help them to renew their mind daily through Scripture (Romans 12:2) and to walk in the freedom that Christ has already won for them on the cross.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for the authority we have in Christ to stand against the schemes of the devil. Lord, we declare that this dear one is covered by the blood of Jesus, and no weapon formed against them shall prosper. We rebuke every demonic spirit, every demonic attack, and every demonic influence in Jesus’ name. We command them to flee and never return. Father, we ask that You would break every chain and set this heart free from any oppression or bondage.
Lord, we pray for the salvation of the man in need and for the two officers. Soften their hearts to receive Your love and truth. Draw them to Yourself and let them experience the transforming power of the Gospel. Father, we also ask that You heal this mind and memory. Remove any lingering pain, bitterness, or ungodly attachments. Fill this heart with Your peace and truth. Help them to meditate on Your Word and to walk in the freedom that Christ has given us.
We pray for wisdom and discernment to recognize the enemy’s tactics and to stand firm in faith. Strengthen this dear one to resist the devil, knowing that he will flee (James 4:7). Surround them with godly community and accountability, so they may grow in faith and maturity.
Father, we trust in Your goodness and faithfulness. You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We declare that this life is hidden with Christ in God (Colossians 3:3), and nothing can separate us from Your love (Romans 8:38-39). Thank You for hearing our prayers and for Your promise to never leave us nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5).
In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
