Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble and repentant hearts, lifting up this dear one who seeks Your forgiveness. Lord, You are faithful and just to forgive when we confess our sins to You. We ask that You wash over them with Your mercy, cleansing them from all unrighteousness. Fill them with Your peace and the assurance of Your love, knowing that in Christ, there is no condemnation. Strengthen their spirit to walk in Your ways and turn away from anything that displeases You. We also want to gently remind you that the name of Jesus is not just a phrase to close a prayer—it is the very foundation of our access to the Father. Acts 4:12 tells us, *"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."* It is only through faith in Jesus Christ, His death on the cross, and His resurrection that we are reconciled to God. If you have not yet placed your trust in Him as your Lord and Savior, we encourage you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in His sacrifice for you, and receive the gift of eternal life.
If there are specific sins weighing on your heart, know that God already knows them, and He calls you to bring them into the light. Psalm 32:5 says, *"I acknowledged my sin to you. I didn’t hide my iniquity. I said, I will confess my transgressions to Yahweh, and you forgave the iniquity of my sin."* Do not let shame or fear keep you from experiencing the fullness of God’s forgiveness and freedom.
