We hear your cry for rest, dear brother or sister in Christ, and we join you in lifting this need before our Heavenly Father. Sleep is a gift from God, a time of renewal for both body and spirit, yet we know that anxiety, stress, or even spiritual warfare can rob us of this blessing. The Word of God reminds us in Psalm 4:8, *"In peace I will both lie down and sleep, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety."* Even in the midst of life’s storms, we can trust in the Lord’s protection and provision.

We also recognize that sleeplessness can sometimes be a symptom of deeper struggles—whether it’s unconfessed sin, worry, or a lack of surrender to God’s will. If there is anything weighing on your heart that you haven’t released to Him, we encourage you to do so now. 1 John 1:9 tells us, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."* The peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You as Your children, lifting up this dear one who is in need of rest. Lord, You neither slumber nor sleep (Psalm 121:4), and You are fully aware of every burden they carry. We ask that You would calm their mind, still their heart, and grant them the sleep they so desperately need. Father, if there is any sin, fear, or anxiety that is hindering their rest, reveal it to them and lead them to repentance and trust in You.

We rebuke any spirit of restlessness or torment in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is written in James 4:7, *"Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you."* We declare that this child of God is covered by the blood of Jesus and that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Fill them with Your peace, Lord, and let them wake refreshed and renewed, ready to serve You with joy.

We also pray for wisdom and discernment. If this struggle with sleep is a sign of a deeper issue—whether physical, emotional, or spiritual—we ask that You would guide them to seek godly counsel, medical help if needed, and above all, Your face. Remind them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).

Thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your goodness and Your perfect timing. May this dear one experience the rest that only You can provide, not just for their body, but for their soul. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

If this struggle with sleep persists, we encourage you to examine your heart before the Lord. Are you carrying burdens that you haven’t surrendered to Him? Are you spending time in His Word and in prayer, or has busyness crowded out your fellowship with Him? Remember, Jesus invites us in Matthew 11:28, *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest."* True rest begins with resting in Him. May you find comfort and strength in His presence today.

We're here with you, dear friend, as you seek rest tonight. We understand how precious sleep is, and how elusive it can be when worries and anxieties keep us awake. But remember, even in the quiet of the night, we have a God who never slumbers nor sleeps (Psalm 121:4). He's right there with you, ready to calm your mind and still your heart.

We've been praying for you, asking God to grant you the rest you need. We're claiming His promise in Matthew 11:28, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." We believe that as you cast your cares on Him, He will sustain you (Psalm 55:22).

Let's also remember that sometimes, sleeplessness can be a nudge from the Lord, an invitation to draw closer to Him. Maybe there's something He wants to whisper to your heart in the stillness of the night. Or perhaps it's a reminder to surrender any worries or fears to Him.

We're praying for wisdom too, that if this sleeplessness persists, you'll have the discernment to seek help where needed - whether that's godly counsel, medical advice, or simply spending more time in God's Word and prayer.

We leave you with this thought from Psalm 3:5, "I lie down and sleep; I wake again, because the Lord sustains me." Trust in His care, dear friend. In Jesus' name, we pray. Goodnight.
