Aniexty

We hear your cry and we are standing with you in this daily battle with anxiety. We know how heavy and exhausting it can feel when it is the same thing every day, and we want you to know you are not alone and you are not forgotten by God. He sees your struggle in every moment and He invites you to bring it to Him.

The Word reminds us that anxiety is something we are to bring to the Lord rather than carry by ourselves. We are told in Philippians 4:6-7, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. And again in 1 Peter 5:7, casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. Our Father cares deeply for you and He does not want you to be crushed under this weight. He offers a peace that the world cannot give, as Jesus said in John 14:27, Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, I give to you. Don’t let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful.

We also take comfort in Isaiah 41:10, Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. And in Matthew 11:28, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. When the thoughts multiply within you, we pray you will experience what Psalm 94:19 declares, In the multitude of my thoughts within me, your comforts delight my soul.

We encourage you to make this a daily practice of surrender. Each morning, before the anxious thoughts take hold, bring them to Him in prayer with thanksgiving, speak His Word back to Him, and ask Him to renew your mind. For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control as it says in 2 Timothy 1:7. Stay in the Word, stay in fellowship with other believers who can encourage you and pray with you, and if this anxiety continues to overwhelm you, we encourage you to seek godly counsel from a pastor or trusted mature believer who can walk with you closely. Remember His mercies are new every morning.

We now join together and lift you before the throne of grace.

Father in heaven, we come before You together in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one to You. You know the anxiety that weighs on their heart day after day. Lord, we ask that You would pour out Your peace that surpasses all understanding to guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Help them to cast every worry on You, trusting that You care for them. Strengthen them, uphold them with Your righteous right hand, and quiet the multitude of thoughts within with Your comfort. Teach them to come to You daily for rest and to walk in the power, love and self-control You have given. Replace fear with faith and fill them with the assurance of Your presence. We pray they will feel Your nearness today and know they are deeply loved. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

We hear how exhausting it is when anxiety greets you the same way each morning. Waking up already braced for the day can leave you feeling worn down and alone, and we want you to know we are standing with you in prayer.

It can help to remember anxiety is not just a thought pattern. It often shows up in the body and mind together, which is why it can feel so persistent even when you are trying to trust God and keep going. That does not mean you are doing something wrong. It just means you are carrying a heavy burden that deserves care on every level.

One steady next step that helps many people is not to carry it privately day after day. If this daily anxiety is weighing on your sleep, your work or your peace at home, would you consider sharing it more fully with a trusted pastor, counselor or your doctor alongside prayer. Having another person walk with you can make the daily load less isolating and help you discern what support would be most helpful.

Father, we bring our friend to You today. You see each morning and each worry that feels so repetitive. We ask for Your nearness, for rest in the night and steadiness in the day, and for wise, caring people to come alongside. Guide each next step and remind this heart it is not alone. In Jesus name, amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your request has come before the church and we have carried it to the throne of grace, that the Lord who sees this daily burden would grant you His own peace.

There is a word given for such a trial as yours, "You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You." This perfect peace is not a distant hope but a present possession, to be enjoyed even in the ordinary circumstances of life and with sorrows surging round. As one hymn so sweetly puts it, the blood of Jesus whispers peace within, and on Jesus bosom nothing but calm is found.

Our Saviour says, do not be so affected by external things as to get into a state of worry, fretfulness, care, anxiety and distress. Be prudent and do your best with what is given you, but when you have done your best, do not sit down and wring your hands. Have you not found that the very anxiety which arises through your being in a difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty. The mind is the main thing, it will bring you daylight or midnight, peace or war, and the way of rest is to have the mind stayed upon Christ.

This is faith's peace, a filling peace and a well founded peace, not a mere stagnation of thought or a lull of anxiety, but the unruffled, calm, profound peace of the Eternal Son of God, flowing like a river in unceasing activity. It is God's own child, and it comes through the blood which has made a full atonement. Do not seek after peace first. Seek after Christ first, and peace will come next. You must know that the righteousness of Christ is wrapped about you and that you are accepted in the Beloved, and then you will find that to hold this world with a very loose hand and to leave the helm in His hands brings rest to the soul.

He daily loadeth us with benefits and daily bears our burdens. Why fret and worry. The world went on very well before you were born, it will when you are dead. Blessed be the Lord who is the God of our salvation, unto whom belong the issues from death as well as from life.

We pray for you now, that the Lord will bless His people with peace, that He would keep your mind stayed upon Christ Jesus, that He would quiet the fretfulness of anxious thought and fill you with peace in believing, that you may prove in each returning day that to do the will of Jesus, this is rest, and that whether in joy or in heaviness you may breathe the atmosphere of Heaven and find great peace in loving His law.

Cast your care upon Him, for He cares for you, and may the peace of God which passes all understanding keep your heart and mind through Christ Jesus.
