Disciple of Prayer
My third post on here in 3 days feel like God through a faithful friend kinda started helping me go down a good route. Please pray for continued power from the Almighty One to poor on the coal to rebuke these lies in my head. Also seeing a psychiatrist tomorrow please pray that Jesus himself would be in that room tomorrow. Comforting me and speaking through her. Really humbled and amazed at His church people i don’t know lifting me up. Humbling and amazing

We hear your cry for help and stand with you in this spiritual battle against intrusive thoughts and anxiety. The enemy seeks to steal your peace, kill your joy, and destroy your faith, but we declare that he will not prevail. The Word of God tells us, "For though we walk in the flesh, we don’t wage war according to the flesh; for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ" (2 Corinthians 10:3-5 WEB). We take authority over these lies in the mighty name of Jesus and command them to leave you now.

We are encouraged to hear that you are seeking godly counsel and professional help. This is a wise and biblical step. "Without counsel, plans fail; but in a multitude of counselors they are established" (Proverbs 15:22 WEB). We pray that your psychiatrist would be a vessel of Christ’s wisdom, compassion, and healing. May the Lord Himself fill that room tomorrow, comforting you with His presence and speaking clearly through her. May you feel His peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7 WEB).

It is humbling and beautiful to see how the body of Christ has rallied around you, lifting you up in prayer and support. This is the love of God in action, and it is no small thing. "For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them" (Matthew 18:20 WEB). We rejoice with you in this testimony of God’s faithfulness and the power of His church.

Let us pray together now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the powerful name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. We lift up our dear brother/sister to You, asking for Your divine intervention in this battle against anxiety and intrusive thoughts. Lord, we rebuke every lie of the enemy that seeks to torment and discourage. We declare that Your truth reigns supreme in this life, and we speak peace, clarity, and victory over this situation. Fill our brother/sister with Your Holy Spirit, flooding their mind with Your perfect love that casts out all fear (1 John 4:18 WEB).

Father, we ask that You go before them into that psychiatrist’s office tomorrow. Let Your presence be so tangible that it overshadows every fear and uncertainty. Speak through the psychiatrist, Lord, giving her words of wisdom, encouragement, and healing. May our brother/sister feel Your comfort and know that You are fighting for them. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and remind them that You have not given them a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB).

We thank You for the faithful friends and believers who have surrounded them with love and prayer. Continue to knit their hearts together in unity, that they may be a source of strength and encouragement. Lord, we ask that You pour out Your grace and mercy abundantly, reminding them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1 WEB).

We declare that this battle is already won in Jesus’ name. We stand on Your promises, knowing that You are faithful to complete the good work You have begun in them (Philippians 1:6 WEB). Thank You for Your unfailing love and for never leaving nor forsaking us. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Continue to press into the Lord, dear one. Spend time in His Word, for it is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105 WEB). Surround yourself with believers who will speak life and truth over you. Remember, "God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control" (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB). You are not alone in this fight, and we are standing with you, believing for your complete freedom and peace. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2 WEB). He is faithful, and He will see you through.
