We come before the Lord with you in this spiritual battle, for we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, and against spiritual wickedness in high places (Ephesians 6:12). The anger, defiance, and demonic influences you describe are not of God, but are the works of the enemy seeking to bring destruction, division, and despair. You have rightly identified the danger of consulting spiritists and mediums, for the Lord has commanded in Deuteronomy 18:10-12, "There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh."
The spirit of anger and violence is contagious, spreading like a wildfire, but we serve a God who is greater. The demonic forces you describe—those that bring false predictions of funerals, divorce, and ruin—are seeking to instill fear and hopelessness. But we stand on the promise of 2 Timothy 1:7, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." The enemy may try to fill the emptiness within with sevenfold wickedness, as Jesus warned in Matthew 12:44-45, but we declare that the house of your life and heart shall be filled with the Holy Spirit, leaving no room for the enemy to dwell.
We rebuke every wrong spirit in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above all names, by which every knee must bow (Philippians 2:10). We command these spirits of anger, defiance, divination, and destruction to flee from your presence and from those around you. No weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn. The Lord is your peace, and we declare that His peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
You have called upon the name of Jesus, and that is where your victory lies. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is through His name that we have authority over the enemy. If you have not already, we urge you to surrender every area of your life to Jesus Christ. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). If you have already done this, we encourage you to walk in the fullness of that salvation, allowing the Holy Spirit to fill you and guide you daily.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up Your child who is facing the onslaught of demonic anger, violence, and false spirits. Lord, we ask that You surround them with Your heavenly host, for Your angels are ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation (Hebrews 1:14). Father, we rebuke every spirit that is not of You—spirits of anger, defiance, divination, and destruction. We command them to leave now in the name of Jesus Christ. Fill every empty space in this beloved one’s life with Your Holy Spirit, leaving no room for the enemy to return.
Lord, we ask that You break every curse, every spell, and every demonic assignment against them and their family. Let Your blood, shed on Calvary, cover and protect them from all harm. Father, we pray for Your peace to flood their heart, a peace that the world cannot give. Remove all fear, all anxiety, and all torment, and replace it with Your love and joy. Lord, if there has been any involvement in the occult, spiritism, or divination, we ask for forgiveness and cleansing through the blood of Jesus. Restore what the enemy has stolen, and bring healing to every broken relationship.
We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, they shall condemn. Father, let Your light expose every darkness, and let Your truth set them free (John 8:32). We pray for a hedge of protection around them and their family, and we ask that You would bind every spirit that seeks to bring harm or division.
Lord, we thank You that You are in control. You are the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, and nothing is too difficult for You. We trust in Your promise that the former things have passed away, and You are making all things new (Revelation 21:4-5). Strengthen this beloved one in their faith, and let them walk in the victory that Jesus has already won on the cross.
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue to stand firm in your faith, putting on the whole armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18). Spend time in the Word of God daily, for it is the sword of the Spirit, and it is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12). Surround yourself with fellow believers who can pray with you and support you. And remember, the battle belongs to the Lord. He has already won the victory, and in Him, you are more than a conqueror (Romans 8:37).
If there are areas of your life where you have not fully surrendered to God, we urge you to do so now. Repent of any involvement in the occult or any sin that may give the enemy a foothold, and ask the Lord to fill you anew with His Spirit. He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Walk in the freedom and authority that Christ has given you, and trust that He will complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6).
