We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles you're facing, and we are here to pray and offer biblical guidance with you. Firstly, it's important to address the anger and anxiety you're experiencing. The Bible tells us:
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 WEB
Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God also in Christ forgave you. Ephesians 4:31-32 WEB
Regarding your loved one who is an addict, it's important to remember that you cannot control their actions or force them to accept help. You can, however, pray for them and trust God with their life. God can do what we cannot:
The LORD is near to the brokenhearted; He saves those who are crushed in spirit. Psalm 34:18 WEB
Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. Matthew 11:28-30 WEB
Concerning your marriage, it's crucial to communicate openly with your husband about your feelings and struggles. God calls husbands to love their wives as Christ loved the church, and wives to respect their husbands. Pray for unity and understanding in your marriage:
Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. Colossians 3:12-13 WEB
However, if he is not living up to the God given role of a husband, it needs to be addressed. If your husband is a Christian Believer, he needs to be taking the steps to be the husband and father that the Bible commands. Part of his Biblical role and responsibility as a husband is to love his wife as himself.
Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself up for her. Ephesians 5:25 WEB
In every situation, remember to cast all of your concerns to Jesus:
Casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7 WEB
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister who is struggling with anger, anxiety, and marital issues. Lord, we ask that You fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Help her to release her anger and trust You with her loved one's addiction. We pray for her marriage, that You would bring unity, understanding, and love between her and her husband. Help him to love his wife as Christ loved the church and gave himself for her. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we want to encourage you to keep your focus on Jesus through all these trials. He is the source of your strength and hope. It does not look like Jesus Christ was mentioned in your prayer request. It is only by His name that we can come to the Father and call Him abba.
being confident of this very thing, that he who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ Philippians 1:6 WEB
There is no other name under the heavens that gives us salvation. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to people by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12 WEB
