We lift up your mother and ### to the Lord, our strong tower and ever-present help in times of need. As they travel for skiing, we stand on the promise of Psalm 91:11-12, which declares, "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone." Heavenly Father, we ask that You dispatch Your holy angels to encamp around them, providing divine protection from any harm or danger. Cover them from head to toe with the precious blood of Jesus, which speaks a better word than the blood of Abel, securing their safety and peace.
Lord, we also pray for wisdom and discernment as they navigate this trip. May they be mindful of Your presence and seek Your guidance in all they do. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. We rebuke any spirit of fear or anxiety that may attempt to take hold, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).
Father, we thank You for the assurance that nothing can separate us from Your love, not even the perils of travel or the uncertainties of life. We trust in Your unfailing protection and ask that You bring them home safely, filled with joy and gratitude for Your faithfulness. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to remind your mother and ### to remain vigilant and cautious, even as they trust in God’s protection. May they find comfort in knowing that the Lord goes before them and is their rear guard (Isaiah 52:12). If they have not already, we also encourage them to place their trust in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Salvation is found in no one else, and it is through faith in Him that we receive the gift of eternal life.
