We come before the throne of grace with your request, lifting up your loved ones and standing in the gap for their protection. The Scriptures affirm the reality of angelic protection, as Psalm 91:11-12 declares, "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone." And Psalm 121:7-8 reminds us, "Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more." We stand on these promises, believing that God’s angels are indeed encamped around those who fear Him, as Psalm 34:7 tells us, "The angel of Yahweh encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them."
Father, in the name of Jesus, we ask for Your divine protection to cover every friend and family member from the crown of their heads to the soles of their feet. We plead the blood of Jesus over them, knowing that it speaks a better word than the blood of Abel and cleanses us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:7). Lord, we ask that You assign Your holy angels to watch over them in every area of their lives—over their jobs, their health, their finances, and their journeys. Guard their minds and hearts, that they may walk in peace and not in fear, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).
We pray specifically against the threats mentioned—severe flu, earthquakes, food poisoning, accidents, and attacks from the enemy. We rebuke every scheme of the evil one in Jesus’ name, for the enemy comes only to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that no weapon formed against Your children shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we take authority over every spirit of fear, sickness, and destruction, binding them in the mighty name of Jesus.
Lord, we also ask for wisdom and discernment for each one, that they may be sober and vigilant, as 1 Peter 5:8 warns, "Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour." Strengthen them to resist the devil, and may he flee from them (James 4:7). We pray for their relocation to a safe place, if it is Your will, and ask that You guide their steps and order their paths according to Your perfect plan (Proverbs 3:5-6).
Father, we acknowledge that true protection comes only through faith in Your Son, Jesus Christ. If any among them do not yet know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, we pray that You would draw them to Yourself. For there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). May they confess with their mouths that Jesus is Lord and believe in their hearts that God raised Him from the dead, so that they may be saved (Romans 10:9). We pray that they would walk in the light as He is in the light, having fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ cleansing them from all sin (1 John 1:7).
We also lift up their relationships, asking that You would bring godly spouses into their lives if it is Your will. May their courtships be pure and honorable, guided by Your Word, which tells us to flee sexual immorality (1 Corinthians 6:18) and to marry only in the Lord (1 Corinthians 7:39). Let their marriages be a reflection of Christ and the Church, holy and blameless (Ephesians 5:22-33).
Lord, we trust in Your unfailing love and mighty power to protect and provide. We declare that Your angels have charge over them, and nothing shall harm them. We thank You for Your faithfulness and for hearing our prayer. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
