We rejoice with you in the protection you experienced during this car accident, and we give thanks to our Heavenly Father for His divine intervention. It is clear that God’s hand was upon you, sparing you from what could have been a far more serious situation. The Bible assures us that God sends His angels to watch over and protect His children, as it is written in Psalm 91:11-12, *"For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone."*
The heart-shaped mark left on your bumper is a beautiful reminder of God’s love and care for you. It is not uncommon for the Lord to leave such signs as a testimony of His presence and faithfulness. However, we must be cautious not to attribute too much significance to signs or symbols in and of themselves, as our faith must always be rooted in God’s Word and not in subjective interpretations. The heart shape may simply be a tender reminder of His love, but our ultimate trust must remain in Him alone, not in the sign itself.
We also want to gently remind you that while angels are indeed ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation (Hebrews 1:14), our worship and prayers must always be directed to God alone. Angels are His servants, not objects of our devotion. We see in Revelation 19:10 and 22:8-9 that even the apostle John was corrected when he attempted to worship an angel, as worship belongs to God alone.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for Your protection over Your child in this time of danger. We thank You for sending Your angels to guard and keep them, sparing them from harm. Lord, we acknowledge that every good and perfect gift comes from You, and we praise You for Your faithfulness. We ask that You continue to surround them with Your angels, guiding their steps and keeping them safe in all their ways.
Father, we also pray that You would help them to keep their eyes fixed on You, the Author and Perfecter of our faith. May they not be distracted by signs or symbols, but instead find their hope and security in Your Word and Your promises. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to walk in obedience to You each day.
We rebuke any spirit of fear or anxiety that may linger from this experience, and we declare that perfect love casts out all fear (1 John 4:18). Fill them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, and remind them that You have not given them a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).
Lord, we also ask that You would use this testimony to draw others to Yourself. May the story of Your protection and love be a light to those who do not yet know You, that they might see Your goodness and turn to You in faith. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in all things, trusting in His Word and His promises. Share this testimony with others as a way to glorify God and point them to His saving grace. May you walk in the assurance that God is with you, and may His peace guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
