We lift up these dear souls to You, Father, with heavy hearts and earnest prayers. We come before Your throne in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is only through Jesus that we have access to You, our Heavenly Father, and it is only by His blood that we are cleansed and made new.
Lord, we pray for the conversion and returning to You of these beloved individuals whose names we hold before You. We ask that You would soften their hearts, open their eyes to the truth of Your Word, and draw them to Yourself with cords of love. We know that no one can come to Jesus unless the Father draws them (John 6:44), so we plead with You to do a mighty work in their lives. May they come to know the truth, and may the truth set them free (John 8:32). We rebuke the spirit of rebellion and hardness of heart that may be keeping them from You, and we command it to flee in Jesus' name.
We also lift up the family of this sister in Christ—her husband and their children. Father, we ask that You would pour out Your Spirit upon their home, that they would be a family that seeks You wholeheartedly. May their marriage be a reflection of Christ’s love for the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33), and may their children grow up to know and serve You all the days of their lives. We pray for unity, peace, and godly wisdom to reign in their household.
For this sister and her beloved, we pray for Your divine favor and guidance as they seek to honor You in their relationship. We rejoice in the desire for a holy marriage, for marriage is honorable in all, and the bed undefiled (Hebrews 13:4). We encourage them to pursue this relationship with purity, patience, and a deep reliance on You. May they both be rooted in Your Word, seeking to love one another as Christ loves the Church. We rebuke any temptation toward impurity or haste, and we pray that their courtship would be a testimony of Your grace and holiness. May their union be blessed, and may it bring glory to Your name.
Father, we ask that You would surround them with godly counsel and accountability, that they would be encouraged in their faith and strengthened in their walk with You. May they always remember that apart from You, they can do nothing (John 15:5), but with You, all things are possible (Matthew 19:26).
We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Amen.
