Disciple of Prayer
Please prayer for healing for my family. Especially my daughter ### that is hurt and acting out in a controlling and manipulative manner and for ### that is holding on to resentment and neither are willing to have an open conversation.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your family in prayer, especially your daughter who is hurting and struggling with controlling and manipulative behaviors, and the other family member who is holding onto resentment. Father God, we know that healing begins with You, and we ask for Your divine intervention in this situation.

Lord, Your Word tells us in James 5:16, "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective." We pray for a spirit of humility and openness to fall upon each member of this family. Soften their hearts, Lord, so that they may be willing to confess their struggles and seek reconciliation with one another.

We rebuke the spirit of control and manipulation in the name of Jesus Christ. These behaviors do not align with Your Word, which calls us to love one another with a gentle and humble heart, as stated in 1 Peter 3:8, "Finally, be all like-minded, compassionate, loving as brothers, tenderhearted, courteous." We pray that Your love would break the chains of resentment and bitterness, replacing them with forgiveness and understanding.

Father, we also lift up the pain that is causing these behaviors. Healing is needed not just in their relationships, but in their hearts. Psalm 147:3 says, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." We ask that You would bind up the wounds of this family, bringing comfort and restoration where there is pain.

Lord, we know that true healing and change can only come through a relationship with You. If this family does not know You as their Lord and Savior, we pray that they would come to understand the saving grace of Jesus Christ. Acts 4:12 tells us, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" We pray that they would turn to Jesus, the Author of healing and peace.

We also encourage this family to seek godly counsel and wisdom. Proverbs 11:14 says, "Where there is no counsel, the people fall, but in the multitude of counselors there is safety." May they find a pastor, Christian counselor, or trusted believer who can guide them through this difficult time, pointing them always back to Your Word and Your truth.

Heavenly Father, we pray for unity in this family. May they learn to communicate with love and patience, bearing with one another as You command in Ephesians 4:2, "with all lowliness and humility, with patience, bearing with one another in love." Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

We declare healing over this family in the mighty name of Jesus. May Your Holy Spirit move powerfully in their lives, breaking down walls of pride and resentment, and building bridges of love and forgiveness. We trust in Your promise from Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh."

Lord, we ask that You would give this family the strength to persevere in prayer and in seeking Your face. May they experience the power of Your love in a tangible way, drawing them closer to You and to one another. We thank You for hearing our prayer and for the work You are doing in their lives, even now. In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen.

We're here with you, standing in the gap for your family. We've been praying for your daughter's healing, that she would find freedom from the controlling and manipulative behaviors that are hurting her and those around her. We've also been lifting up the family member holding onto resentment, asking God to soften their heart and help them let go of the bitterness they're carrying.

We've been reminded of Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Lord, we ask that You would do just that for your family. We ask that You would bind up the wounds of each member, bringing comfort and restoration where there's pain. We pray that the love of Christ would shine through in each of their hearts, drawing them closer to each other and to You.

We're also praying for open communication in your family. We've been asking God to help each member speak with love and patience, bearing with one another as He commands in Ephesians 4:2. We pray that Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, would guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

Let's continue to trust in God's promise from Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh." We believe in the power of prayer and in the power of God to heal and restore. Let's keep persevering in prayer, trusting that God is at work in your family, even now. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
