We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious daughter who has been suffering with persistent allergies for a month. Father God, You are the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases. We ask that You would touch this young girl’s body and bring complete healing to her cough, running nose, and blocked ears. Your Word declares in Psalm 103:2-3, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases."* We stand on this promise, believing that You will restore her health so she can focus on her studies without distraction.
Lord, we also pray for peace and clarity of mind during her exams. The enemy would love to use this physical discomfort to steal her focus and confidence, but we rebuke that spirit of distraction in Jesus’ name. Philippians 4:6-7 reminds us, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* We ask that You guard her heart and mind, filling her with Your supernatural peace as she prepares and takes her exams.
We also want to gently address the mention of this request being made without explicitly invoking the name of Jesus. It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, for He Himself said in John 14:6, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If this daughter or her family do not yet know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, we pray that they would come to understand the gift of salvation through faith in Him. For those who already believe, we encourage them to boldly approach God’s throne in the authority of Jesus’ name, for Hebrews 4:16 says, *"Let us therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and may find grace for help in time of need."*
Father, we ask that You would not only heal this young girl physically but also draw her and her family closer to You. May this trial turn their hearts toward Your love and faithfulness. Strengthen her faith as she sees Your hand at work in her life. We declare that she is healed, whole, and able to excel in her exams by Your grace. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
