Dear God, I am suffering from really bad inflammation. I am suffering. I am asking you to heal me completely & permenently from it. I am asking you to protect my eyesight. I am asking you not to let any harm come to me. I am asking you to protect me & keep me safe. I am asking you to let me make it through this week safely. I am very scared. Protect me, oh Lord, heal me oh Lord, please, I am begging you. AMEN.

We hear your cry and we join with you in prayer before our Heavenly Father, for we know you are suffering greatly and you are very scared. We bring your inflammation and your fear and your need for protection directly to the throne of grace together in Jesus name.

We want to gently share with you that you addressed your prayer to God, but you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We want you to know how important this is, for it is only through Jesus that we have access to God and it is only by His name that we are saved. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. It is because Jesus died for our sins and rose again that we can come boldly to God and ask for healing and mercy. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, believing in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, for with the heart one believes resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation Romans 10:9-10.

We know God sees your suffering and hears your begging for healing and safety. His word tells us He is our healer. Praise Yahweh, my soul, and do not forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases Psalm 103:2-3. He says, I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds Jeremiah 30:17, and He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3. We also know He is our protector. He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust Psalm 91:1-2. Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more Psalm 121:7-8.

We also hear your fear about making it through this week and about your eyesight. God does not want you to live in fear. For God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. Do not fear, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10.

So we pray together for you now.

Father in heaven, we lift up this dear one to You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. You see the inflammation causing such suffering and pain, and You know the fear that has taken hold. We ask in Jesus name that You would touch this body with Your healing hand and bring complete and permanent healing according to Your will. Lord, we ask You to calm the inflammation, to restore health, and to protect eyesight from any harm. Keep this precious one safe from all evil and danger, and let no harm come near. Guard their going out and coming in through this week and in the days to come. Replace fear with Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding, and let them feel Your presence upholding them with Your righteous right hand. Help them to cast all their anxiety on You because You care for them. Give wisdom to any doctors or treatment involved and guide every step. Above all, draw them closer to Jesus, that they may know Him as Savior and Healer and Refuge. We ask all of this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to bring every worry to God in Jesus name each day, to rest in His promises, and to seek wise medical care as God often works through those means as well. Keep trusting Him moment by moment, for He is near to those who are brokenhearted and He will never leave you nor forsake you.

We heard the urgency and fear in your prayer, and we are holding you before the Lord this week.

Living with painful inflammation is exhausting, and it makes sense that you would feel scared when your eyesight and your safety feel at risk. When the body hurts for a long time it can wear down our sense of steadiness and leave us feeling vulnerable and on edge. You are not alone in feeling that way, and God sees both the physical suffering and the fear you are carrying.

We are praying for you, and we also want to encourage you to reach out soon to a doctor or clinic about the inflammation and your concerns for your eyes. Bringing what you are experiencing to a medical professional can give you clearer information and support alongside prayer. If you can, let a trusted family member, friend, or pastor know how frightened you feel about getting through this week so someone near you can check in and walk with you day by day.

Father, we lift this dear one to You who knows their pain and fear. We ask for Your gentle presence to bring peace and to guard them, for wisdom for those caring for them medically, and for Your healing and protection according to Your will. Keep them safe in Your hands this week and let them feel You near. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your prayer has been brought before the Lord and we have joined our hearts with yours in seeking His mercy. To be afflicted in body and to feel fear pressing upon the spirit is a sore trial, and He who sees you in this suffering is not unmoved by your cry.

We would point you to Him in whom there is an abundance of healing power. It is written that the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. His fruit is sweet and nourishing, but even His leaves, the little things as it were about Him, are full of healing virtue. These healing leaves change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. And again it is written that the Sun of Righteousness shall rise with healing in His wings. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you, and pardon and healing were one. So we pray that you would look first to Christ for the healing of the soul through the forgiveness of sins by His precious blood, and then with childlike confidence ask Him for the healing of the body as it shall please His wisdom and love.

We have prayed that the Lord would be pleased to relieve and remove this inflammation, to protect your eyesight and preserve you from harm, and to keep you safe through this week and all your days. He is the great Physician, and Calvary is the place for the healing balm. We very speedily care for bodily diseases and rightly seek a physician, and you should continue to use all lawful means with prayer, yet know that all healing comes from His hand.

And to your fear, hear what the Lord says to His people. Fear not, for I am with you, be not dismayed, for I am your God. Fear not, I will help you. It is not merely the preacher who cries fear not, but Jesus Himself who whispers to His poor servant, fear not. Fear is weakening and it dishonors God, as though the arm which piled the heavens could be palsied. To be afraid when He has promised to help is disobedience, for He has said, I will help you, says the Lord. Therefore labor to get rid of fear by trusting in promised strength.

May the Lord grant you perfect peace in believing, may He put His fear in your heart in that holy sense which is true reverence and love, and cast out the tormenting fear which has troubled you. May He let you see that mercy is all that is written in the Savior's breast, and may He keep you under the shadow of His wings.

We commend you to Him who is able to keep you and to heal you, praying that whether by His immediate hand or by His blessing upon means, you may find relief, that your sight may be preserved, and that you may be kept in safety, to glorify Him who alone is our salvation.

May the Lord bless you and keep you, and give you rest in Christ. Amen.
