Your cry has been heard and we are bringing it before the Lord with you in prayer. When the heart is overwhelmed and it feels impossible to see a way out, the soul is greatly tested. Scripture teaches that great vigor of soul is needed to stand against such a violent blast, and that strength does not come from ourselves but from God who sustains us.
We pray that God will give you clarity, courage and endurance in this trial, and that He will make a way for you to walk in holiness and obedience to Him. There is hope because salvation is through Jesus Christ alone, and He is merciful to all who turn to Him in repentance and faith. Whatever has led to this distress, He invites you to cast your whole burden on Him, to confess your need honestly, and to trust Him to forgive, to cleanse and to lead you forward.
God has shown us what is good for our lives. He designed marriage to be a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and He intends sexual intimacy and living together to belong within that covenant. This design is for our protection and flourishing. We will not ask God to bless what is outside His will, but we do ask Him to bless you with the grace to choose what is right, to turn from what harms you, and to find strength to do what pleases Him, even when it is costly.
We encourage you to not face this alone. Seek the counsel of a faithful pastor or mature believers in a local church, stay in prayer and in the Word of God each day, and take the next faithful step that is before you. If you are in danger or in need of immediate help, please reach out to a trusted pastor, counselor or local support.
