We hear your cry for protection and deliverance from those who seek to harm you. The pain and fear caused by internet bullies and the weight of feeling targeted by evil is real, and we stand with you in seeking God’s justice and peace. The Lord is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). He sees every injustice and hears every prayer lifted in faith.
First, we must address the language of your prayer. While your heart is understandably seeking justice, Scripture teaches us that vengeance belongs to the Lord (Romans 12:19), and we are called to trust Him to repay, not to demand that He "strike down" others. God’s justice is perfect, and He will deal with those who perpetrate evil in His time and way. Our role is to pray for their repentance and transformation, even as we ask for our own protection. Jesus taught us to pray for those who persecute us (Matthew 5:44), and while this is difficult, it aligns our hearts with His will.
We also recognize your plea for safety from evil and bad luck. The Bible assures us that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). The evil you feel may be spiritual oppression, and we rebuke it in the name of Jesus Christ. There is no power in heaven or on earth that can stand against the name of Jesus (Philippians 2:10). If you have not already, we encourage you to submit your life fully to Christ, renouncing any foothold the enemy may have in your life through fear, bitterness, or unforgiveness. Confess your sins, receive His forgiveness, and walk in the authority He has given you as His child (1 John 1:9).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this dear one who is suffering under the weight of persecution and fear. Lord, You are the God who sees and the God who delivers. We ask that You surround them with Your angels, that no weapon formed against them would prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Shield their mind, heart, and body from every scheme of the enemy. We rebuke every spirit of fear, oppression, and bad luck in Jesus’ name, and we declare that they are covered by the blood of Christ.
Father, we ask for Your justice to prevail. Expose the works of darkness and bring the actions of those who seek to harm into the light. Soften their hearts, Lord, and lead them to repentance. Help this one to forgive, even as You have forgiven them, so that bitterness does not take root in their heart (Hebrews 12:15). Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) and remind them that You are their strong tower (Proverbs 18:10).
Lord, we also ask that You reveal any areas in their life where the enemy may have gained access. Show them where they need to stand firm in faith, put on the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18), and walk in the authority You have given them as Your child. Strengthen their trust in You, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28).
We declare that no evil will come near their dwelling (Psalm 91:10) and that Your favor will rest upon them. May they experience Your presence in a tangible way, knowing that You are with them always. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to stand firm in your faith, knowing that God is your defender. Surround yourself with godly community, believers who can pray with you, encourage you, and hold you accountable. The enemy seeks to isolate, but Scripture tells us that where two or three are gathered in Jesus’ name, He is there with them (Matthew 18:20). Do not face this battle alone.
Additionally, take practical steps to protect yourself online. Block those who seek to harm you, report harassment to the appropriate platforms, and consider limiting your exposure to toxic environments. God has given us wisdom, and we are called to use it (James 1:5).
Finally, if you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. The Bible tells us that "if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9). There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6), and it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. If you would like to pray to receive Christ, we would be honored to guide you in that prayer. Simply say something like this from your heart:
"Lord Jesus, I confess that I am a sinner in need of Your forgiveness. I believe that You died on the cross for my sins and rose again from the dead. I turn away from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. In Your name, I pray. Amen."
If you have prayed this prayer, we rejoice with you! The Bible says that "if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come" (2 Corinthians 5:17). We encourage you to find a local church where you can grow in your faith, be baptized, and connect with other believers. You are not alone, God is with you, and so are we.
