We hear your cry for justice and protection, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting your concerns to the throne of grace. The pain and frustration caused by internet bullies and the fear of harm are very real, and we take them seriously. Let us first address the foundation of our prayers, it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God the Father. There is no other name by which we can be saved or through which our prayers are heard (Acts 4:12). Jesus Himself said, "Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you" (John 16:23 WEB). So we come before God in the mighty name of Jesus, trusting in His power and authority.
The desire for justice is understandable, but we must be careful not to pray out of a spirit of vengeance or retaliation. Scripture tells us, "Donāt seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to Godās wrath. For it is written, āVengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.ā" (Romans 12:19 WEB). Instead, we pray for Godās justice to prevail and for His protection over you. We also rebuke the schemes of the enemy, for we know that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of wickedness (Ephesians 6:12 WEB). The bullies and those who seek to harm you are being used by the enemy, and we bind their actions in the name of Jesus.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this dear one to You, asking for Your divine protection over their life, their mind, their heart, and all that belongs to them. Lord, You are our refuge and fortress, our God in whom we trust (Psalm 91:2 WEB). We ask that You would surround them with Your angels, that no weapon formed against them would prosper (Isaiah 54:17 WEB). We rebuke every spirit of bullying, harassment, and evil intent that has been directed toward them. We declare that the enemyās plans will not succeed, and we break every curse or scheme sent their way in Jesusā name.
Father, we ask that You would expose the works of darkness and bring justice to those who have sought to harm this child of Yours. We pray that their hearts would be softened, that they would come to know You, and that their actions would be turned from evil to good. Lord, we also ask for Your peace to guard this oneās heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7 WEB). You cry to the Most High for protection, and that is well; yet take heed lest a root of bitterness spring up within your own soul. Do you not perceive that to ask God to strike down your enemies is to return evil for evil? That is the way of the flesh, not the method of divine grace. Remember the words, āGood for evil is God-like.ā If you have been delivered from the power of darkness, then walk as a child of light. Leave vengeance to the Lord; He alone knows the perfect time and the just measure. Your part is to commit your cause to Him and to seek grace to bless those who curse you.
Let your prayer rather be that God would deliver you, and them, from the pit of sin. Has He not said, āDeliver him from going down to the pit: I have found a ransomā? That ransom is Christ, and He is the true shelter from all evil. Your safety lies not in the destruction of your foes but in the shadow of the Almighty. No group formed against you can prevail if the Lord has commanded His angels concerning you. He will dry up the green tree of pride and break every weapon forged against His children. Trust Him to keep you and your goods, for nothing enters your life apart from His permission, and even the sharpest trial comes from a Fatherās hand to do you good.

You cry out to God to strike down those who wish you harm. But consider this: the one who plots evil against another strikes his own soul first. Just as the evil speaker disgraces himself before he ever shames his target, so the hater drinks his own poison. Why then do you ask God to do what that poison already accomplishes? Leave vengeance to the One who judges justly. Your part is not to imitate their malice but to overcome evil with good.
Recall the story of Joseph. His own brothers sold him into slavery. His master's wife falsely accused him and had him thrown into prison. Each of these seemed a grievous wound, yet in reality they were the very hands of God pulling him out of greater danger. The house of his master, with that lustful woman, was a den of spiritual death. The prison became his sanctuary. What men meant for his ruin, God used for his preservation and exaltation. Do not therefore fix your eyes on the harm sent against you, but on the God who orders all things for the good of those who love Him. The present world is called evil only because of the evil actions that happen within it, but Christ has delivered us from its ultimate power. Trust in that deliverance.
You ask for safety. True safety is found nowhere else but in union with Christ. He who is conscious of no deliberate evil, who clings to the Lord and does not separate himself from Him, suffers nothing truly dreadful. The internet bullies may wound your reputation or your peace for a time, but they cannot touch the soul that rests in God. Indeed, when you bear wrongs patiently and refuse to strike back, you heap coals of kindness upon their heads, and you yourself become more like your Master who, when reviled, did not revile in return.
Pray instead that God would open their eyes, that He would deliver them from the pit of their own malice. Do not ask for their destruction but for their conversion. That is the way of the children of God, who have received the Spirit of adoption. The law written on your heart delights in what is good; let that law govern your lips. Send away the evil not by calling down fire from heaven, but by showing yourself to be a child of your Father who makes His sun rise on the evil and the good. Then you will know the peace that surpasses every threat, and no bad luck or curse will have any hold on you, for you are hidden in Christ.
