Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, so that I can trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. You cry out for healing, protection, and provision, but consider well what you ask and why. God indeed cares for your body, but far more for your soul. When you pray for money, examine your heart: do you seek it for needful sustenance, or to fulfill desires that only weigh down the spirit? The Apostle warns us to make no provision for the flesh to gratify its lusts. Ask for daily bread, but do not let the love of riches choke the word sown in you, as our Lord taught in the parable of the sower.

You ask to be kept safe and to travel securely, yet the true danger is not from the lion that devours the body, but from the roaring lion that seeks to devour your soul. The Lord delivered Paul from the mouth of the lion, but he counted it a greater deliverance to be rescued from every evil work, that is, from sin. Pray then that you may be delivered from the evil that clings to your own heart: from anger, from lust, from envy, from all that separates you from God. That is the permanent removal of evil.

As for your eyesight, give thanks for the light of your eyes, but strive even more that the eyes of your understanding may be enlightened, so that you may see clearly the path of righteousness. Physical blindness is a light affliction compared to the blindness of a soul that cannot perceive the beauty of virtue.

Do you ask for blessing? True blessing is to become a son of God by adoption, to put on Christ, to receive the Spirit who cries, “Abba, Father.” Seek that blessing above all, and all other things will be added as they are truly needed. The promise of the Kingdom is worth more than any earthly comfort, yet it is gained only through careful hearing of the word, steadfast endurance, and contempt of worldly things. Do not be like the seed that fell among thorns; rather, with fortitude and a constant recollection of holy teaching, cultivate a heart that bears fruit.

Therefore, let your prayer be first for the cleansing of your soul. Cry out, “Lord, heal my soul, for I have sinned against you. Protect my spiritual sight, that I may never turn from your light. Bring me not earthly riches, but the treasure of a pure conscience. Remove from me every evil work, and let no wicked thought dwell within me. Bless me with the grace to live a life worthy of your calling. Lead me safely on the narrow way that leads to life.” Such a prayer, offered with humility and a sincere purpose, will never go unanswered. Amen.

It is right to cry out to God with the raw, urgent needs of your heart. I hear the desperation and the real fear in your words, the plea for your eyesight, your safety, your provision, and for the removal of anything evil from your life. These are not small requests, and Scripture gives us every reason to bring them directly to the Lord, just as you have done.

When we look at the ministry of Jesus, we see Him healing all kinds of sickness and disease. Matthew tells us He healed every sickness among the people, and he connects this directly to the prophecy of Isaiah, that “He Himself took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses.” This is a profound truth. The suffering of Christ, His broken body, touches not just the forgiveness of sin but also the healing of our physical bodies. When we remember His death, we are remembering that He has made provision for our wholeness in ways we may not fully understand. So it is not a lack of faith to ask boldly, and it is not a sign of spiritual weakness to be in need. The Apostle Paul himself pleaded with the Lord three times for a thorn in his flesh to be removed, and God’s answer was not the healing he sought but a different kind of sustaining grace. We never presume that God must heal in a particular way, but we always know He is able.

The process of healing can take many forms. Sometimes Jesus spoke a word from a distance. Sometimes He touched. Sometimes the healing was instantaneous, and other times, like the blind man at Bethsaida, it was gradual. Any movement toward wholeness, whether it comes through the miraculous or through the natural processes God designed into our bodies, is a divine gift. A doctor’s skill, the body’s own restorative power, a sudden lifting of pain, or a slow recovery over weeks and months are all under His sovereign care and are all reasons for thanks. The moment when faith reaches out to touch the hem of His garment, as the woman with the issue of blood did, there is power to be released. Her healing came the very instant she activated her faith, and she felt in her body that she was healed. Yet Scripture also shows us good and faithful people whose prayers were answered with a process of waiting, or even with the final deliverance that comes through death itself, which Paul called a departure, the untying of a ship ready to set sail into the Lord’s presence.

Regarding your eyesight and your safety, know that Jesus is the light of the world, and in His light we see. He healed blindness to reveal the works of God, and while not every physical condition is tied to a specific act of sin, we trust His power over every darkness. As for the protection from evil, we stand on the authority of Christ, who commands evil spirits and they obey. The evil one has no permanent claim on you. For your financial need, God cares about the whole of life, not just the spiritual. He fed the multitudes and provided for His people in the wilderness. Do not let anyone manipulate you into thinking that a lack of money or a lingering sickness is proof of a secret sin. That is the counsel of Job’s comforters, and it is not the heart of Jesus. Jesus never chided the crowds when they came only seeking physical help; He was moved with compassion.

So, in the quiet of your own heart, reach out now and touch Him in that place where faith releases its grip on worry and takes hold of His promise. You may not understand why a breakthrough comes this way and not that, or why a healing seems delayed while another comes quickly. I certainly do not understand all the mysteries of it. But do not let the confusion or the circus of false promises from some who claim to be healers discourage you. God is working. I pray that you feel the reality of His care, whether through a sudden change or a steady protection, and that you travel and live under the covering of His grace.
