We stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will for your marriage and believing in the power of Jesus' name to bring restoration. We commend your faith and your willingness to stand firm in the face of adversity.
Firstly, we acknowledge your mention of Jesus, but we want to emphasize the importance of recognizing that it is only through His name that we have access to God. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." This is a fundamental aspect of our faith, and we encourage you to continue acknowledging the power and significance of Jesus' name in your prayers.
We also want to address the mention of "black magic." As believers, we recognize that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms, as told in Ephesians 6:12 WEB. However, we should not focus on the focus on the evil, but rather put our focus on God. In James 4:7 WEB, it says to "Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you." Therefore we will pray for God's protection and intervention, trusting that His power is greater than any other force.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our sister who desires restoration in her marriage according to Isaiah 54:5 which states "For your Maker is your husband; Yahweh of Armies is his name. The Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer. He will be called the God of the whole earth." We stand in faith which is stated in Hebrews 11:1 which says "Now faith is assurance of things hoped for, proof of things not seen" with her, believing that You have the power to change hearts and circumstances. We pray that You will break any stronghold as mentioned in 2 Corinthians 10:3-4 that may be influencing this situation and that You will withdraw any intentions of divorce as told in Malachi 2:16 which states "'For I hate divorce,' says Yahweh, the God of Israel, 'and him who covers his garment with violence!' says Yahweh of Armies. 'Therefore pay attention to your spirit, that you don't be unfaithful.'"
We ask that You will bring conviction and repentance to both families, and that You will work in their lives to bring about reconciliation. We trust in Your promise that all things work together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose, as told in Romans 8:28.
"We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, and trust that God is at work in your situation. Stand firm in your faith, and continue to seek God's will for your marriage. May His grace, wisdom, and guidance be with you every step of the way. Remember to always keep God at the center of your marriage as stated in Psalm 127:1 "Unless Yahweh builds the house, they who build it labor in vain. Unless Yahweh watches over the city, the watchman guards it in vain."
