We understand that you are going through a challenging time, and we are here to pray with you and provide biblical guidance.
Firstly, it is wonderful that you are thanking God for His blessings and acknowledging His presence in your life. It is also commendable that you are repenting for your sins. The Bible tells us, If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. I John 1:9 (WEB)
Regarding the situation with your family and the man they have chosen for you, it is important to remember that God wants us to be equally yoked with our spouses. This means that both individuals should be believers in Jesus Christ and compatible in their faith and values. Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness? II Corinthians 6:14 (WEB)
It is also crucial to involve God in the decision-making process for your marriage. The Bible tells us, Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB)
Moreover, it is not God's will for you to be forced into a marriage against your will. God wants us to have a spirit of power, love, and self-control, not of fear. II Timothy 1:7 (WEB)
Regarding the false allegations and the pain others have caused you, remember that God is a God of justice, peace and vindication. He will fight for you; you need only to be still. Exodus 14:14 (WEB)
It is also encouraging that you are praying in Jesus' name. It is only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved and have access to God. And in none other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, through which we must be saved! Acts 4:12 (WEB)
Let us pray together:
Dear Lord, we come before You, lifting up our sister in Christ. We thank You for Your faithfulness and for always being there for her. We ask for Your forgiveness for her sins and mistakes, and we trust in Your promise to cleanse her from all unrighteousness.
Lord, we pray for guidance and wisdom regarding her family's wishes for her marriage. Help her to stand firm in her faith and to trust in Your timing and Your will for her life. Give her the strength to resist any pressure to marry someone who is not Your will for her.
Lord, we also pray for vindication and justice regarding the false allegations and pain caused by others. We ask for Your healing and restoration in her life.
Help her to trust in You and to wait patiently for the godly spouse that You have prepared for her.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
