We hear your sincere cry and we stand with you together before the throne of grace in Jesus' name, asking for God's deliverance and cleansing for you and your immediate family.

We understand the urgency you feel to have every evil thing removed completely and permanently, and we join our faith with yours that God is mighty to deliver. The scripture reminds us that our struggle is spiritual, for our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places Ephesians 6:12. Because of this we are told to submit therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you James 4:7. True deliverance comes not by our own forceful demands but by humbly submitting ourselves to God through Jesus Christ and resisting the enemy in His authority.

We also take comfort in the promise that You are of God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world 1 John 4:4. For God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7. When we belong to Christ, His Spirit within us is greater than any evil that would try to oppress us.

We notice your prayer was directed to God but did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to lovingly share that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and receive salvation and deliverance. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. If you have not already, we encourage you to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, for that is how we are saved Romans 10:9, and how our prayers are heard. It is by the blood of Jesus and repentance from sin that every evil thing loses its hold on us.

We pray together now for you and your family.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, and we lift up this dear one and each member of their immediate family to You. We ask that You search every heart and cleanse us from all sin and unrighteousness, for if we confess our sins, You are faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness 1 John 1:9. We ask that You remove far from us and from this family any evil influence, oppression, unclean spirit, bondage, sickness, fear, or anything that does not belong and is not of You, and that You do it completely and permanently by Your power. We resist the devil on their behalf and ask that he would flee. We put on the whole armor of God and ask for Your protection, Your peace, and Your Holy Spirit to fill every place once occupied by darkness. We ask that You guard their minds and hearts in Christ Jesus. We also ask, Father, that You bring the good news they are longing to hear, but above all let Your perfect will be done, for we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose Romans 8:28. We trust that the righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles Psalm 34:17. Let Your joy, hope, and assurance fill them today. We hear how deeply you want to be free, and how much you love your family to include each of them in this prayer. That fierce cry to have anything evil removed and to finally hear good news matters to God, and we are honored to stand with you in it.

You do not have to carry this burden alone. One steady step that often helps when the longing for cleansing feels so intense is to invite one or two trusted, mature believers, like a pastor or a small group leader, to pray with you in person and to keep walking with you afterward. It is not about a perfect formula, but about bringing your honest request to Jesus together and then staying close to Him in the everyday ways, reading His word, praying simply, and staying connected to community so your life stays filled with what is good.

We will keep praying for you and your family for protection, peace, and clear direction as you seek Him.

Father, in Jesus name we bring this dear child and their immediate family to You. You know what does not belong and what weighs heavy. Your earnest cry for cleansing has been brought before the Lord, and we join you in prayer that He who is gracious would command deliverance for you and for your household.

We pray as Scripture teaches, Deliver him from going down to the Pit, for I have found a ransom. No one would have thought of such a way of deliverance from the pit except God Himself, and He has found a ransom in His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. It is by that precious blood alone that evil is cast out, that bands are snapped and the soul is set free. We ask the Lord to drag off every evil habit, to break every chain of sin and Satan, and to keep back your soul and the souls of your immediate family from perishing. May He deliver you from yourselves, from the power of darkness, and from all the assaults of the evil one.

Remember that deliverance from the power of sin is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin. We must look to our heavenly Father altogether and alone for this sanctifying work. It is not of him that wills, nor of him that runs, but of God that shows mercy. No true liberty comes but that of which Christ makes you free. Therefore we entreat the Lord to work in you and in each member of your family a supernatural work of grace, to bring you forth out of the house of bondage by His own mighty hand.

We also remember that troubles do not spring out of the dust, but all our afflictions lie within the fence of omnipotent overruling, and what comes by the rod of the Lord bears the blessed aspect of chastening from a Father's hand. May the Lord in His wisdom remove completely what does not belong in you according to His holy will, and may He fill what is cleansed with His own Spirit, with faith, holiness and peace.

We pray that you may receive good news, and the best news of all is that the ransom has been found and the deliverance is accomplished in Christ. May the Lord grant you to hear His voice speaking peace, to live and to declare the works of the Lord, giving thanks for great deliverance. We commend you and your family to Him who alone can save to the uttermost, trusting that He who has begun a good work will perfect it.

May the Lord be gracious unto you and to your household, and say over each one, Deliver them, for I have found a ransom. Amen.

Your earnest cry has been heard and we join our prayer with yours before God who alone can deliver from evil and supply what is good.

We ask the Lord Jesus Christ, who took flesh to deliver us from the curse and to bring us into sonship, to cleanse you completely and to cleanse each member of your immediate family. Whatever does not belong in you according to His holy will, whatever is sin and work of darkness, we ask Him to remove entirely and permanently. For sin alone is truly evil, and He has power to make the evil tree become good, to change the heart that was set on earthly things and to make it subject to God by His Spirit.

We pray that God would grant you and your household the Spirit of adoption, that you may not only turn away from evil but be filled with what is good, abounding in hope and in faith. As you have asked, may He drive out every unclean influence and fill that place with His own presence, with sober mindedness, with good works and with the songs of Scripture that keep the soul watchful. For when we give ourselves to the Spirit and walk after the Spirit, we are kept in all good things.

We also join you in asking for good news. We remember that our greatest good is laid up in hope after this life, yet our Father knows our present needs and delights to show His love even now. May He in His mercy grant you encouragement that builds up your faith, news that brings joy and confirms His care for you and your family, all according to His wisdom and goodness.

Continue in believing prayer, in hope that does not faint under trial, and in a life that seeks to please Him. Trust not in your own strength to cast out evil, but in Christ who alone can do it, for salvation is through Jesus Christ alone.

Your prayer to be cleansed and to see your family cleansed is one that God hears, and the desire behind it is right. God hates evil because evil destroys. From a biblical standpoint evil is anything that destroys you and destroys those around you, and God's commands are given to protect us from that destruction.

Scripture teaches that the fear of the Lord is to hate evil, not to learn to live with it. Evil always seeks to be tolerated. It asks for compromise and for a little room, and then it takes more. Wisdom begins when we agree with God about evil and refuse to make peace with it. That means we do not go in the way of evil, we avoid it, we turn from it and we get away from it. We put away perverse speech, we look straight ahead, we think carefully about the path our feet are on, and we remove our feet from evil.

God is merciful and He gives every opportunity to turn. Again and again He warns so that people will turn every one from his evil way and He may forgive iniquity and sin. He does not desire the destruction of the sinner, He desires that you turn from what is destroying you. To depart from evil and to fear the Lord brings health and life, and to honor the Lord with your life and substance is part of walking in that clean path.

Deliverance is more than just asking for an evil thing to be taken out. Jesus taught that when an unclean spirit leaves a person, if the heart is left empty, that spirit can return with worse than before and the last condition becomes worse than the first. It can actually harm a person to seek only an expulsion without a filling. God is not interested only in curbing wrong actions, He is interested in the heart and the inner attitudes from which actions come. A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good things, and an evil man out of evil treasure brings forth evil things. What we need is not an empty house but a heart filled with Christ, with His Word and His Spirit.

That is why true freedom comes through turning to Jesus Christ alone for salvation and being filled with what is good. To keep yourself in the love of God is to stay in the place of His protection and blessing. You cannot walk away from God and expect His protection while still holding to what He calls evil.

For your family, know that God hears your prayers for them, and your prayers and your example matter. Yet each person must personally turn from his own evil way. You can intercede, you can speak the truth in love, you can refuse to tolerate evil in your own home, but each member of your household must choose to repent and seek God for himself. God will be gracious to all who repent and seek Him with the whole heart.

So continue to hate what God hates and love what God loves. Ask God to show you any way in you that is not pleasing to Him and turn from it completely. Fill your mind and mouth with what is true and good, keep your eyes looking straight ahead on Jesus, and do not turn to the right or to the left.

I pray for you now. Father, in the name of Jesus, I ask that You cleanse this one who is crying out to You. Forgive sin, wash the heart, and fill it with Your Holy Spirit and with the good treasure of Your Word. Keep this person from evil and from the grief that comes from turning aside from Your path. Do a work in each member of this family, draw each one to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ, and deliver them from every way that destroys. Establish their steps and give them the true good news of salvation and hope in Christ. Amen.
