We hear your cry and we are standing with you in this moment of fear, lifting up your need for protection over your eyesight before our Heavenly Father together in Jesus' name.
We want to gently and lovingly point out that you called out to God, and we want to make sure you know the precious truth that it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved. Jesus said in John 14:6, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And it is written in Acts 4:12, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. We encourage you to put your full trust in Jesus Christ as your Savior and Mediator, for when we pray in His name we come confidently before the throne of grace.
We understand how frightening it is when something as precious as sight feels threatened. Fear is a natural human response, but God does not want you to remain in fear. We are reminded in 2 Timothy 1:7, For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. And in Isaiah 41:10, Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. We also cling to Philippians 4:6-7, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. The Lord sees you and cares deeply for you, for 1 Peter 5:7 tells us to cast all our anxiety on him, because he cares for us. He is the one who opens eyes, as Psalm 146:8 declares, Yahweh opens the eyes of the blind. Yahweh raises up those who are bowed down. Yahweh loves the righteous.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one to You. You see the fear and anxiety surrounding their eyesight and we ask You to replace that fear with Your perfect peace. Lord, we ask for Your hand of protection to be upon their eyes. We ask You to guard their vision, to heal what is vulnerable, to strengthen what is weak, and to preserve the sight You have given. We pray for Your comfort to surround them, that they would feel Your presence and know that You are near. We ask You to guide any doctors or care they may need and to grant wisdom and clarity for next steps. We pray that You would help them to cast all their cares on You and to rest in Your love and power. Let Your will be done in their health and let their eyes continue to see Your goodness and Your creation. We ask all of this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen.
We encourage you to keep bringing this fear to the Lord in prayer and to also be a good steward of the body God has given you by seeking timely medical care if you have concerns about your eyes, as God often works through physicians and care to bring protection and healing. Keep seeking Him, keep trusting in Jesus, and remember Psalm 34:4, I sought Yahweh, and he answered me, and delivered me from all my fears. We are continuing to pray with you that God will protect your eyesight and fill your heart with His peace that surpasses all understanding.

Your cry of fear has been heard, and we bring it before the Lord with you. It is a tender mercy that when the heart is sore afraid it may still run to the throne of grace and say, Protect me, O God.
You say you are scared, and this is the common lot of our frail nature, yet the Lord has planted the word Fear not very plentifully in His garden. Again and again He says, Fear not, for I am with you, be not dismayed, for I am your God. Fear not, thou worm Jacob, I will help thee, saith the Lord. To be afraid is disobedience to that kind command, for fear is weakening and it dishonors God, as though the arm which piled the heavens could be palsied. Labor then to get rid of fear by trusting in promised strength.
Have you not found that the very anxiety which arises through your being in a difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty. Anxiety confined to yourself brings no good. But there is a better way opened to you. Casting all your care upon Him, for He careth for you. Tell the Lord about your eyes, about the fear that sits upon your spirit, about all that makes you tremble. He who numbers the hairs of your head does not overlook the eyes which He has made.
And there is healing power in Jesus Christ. The Scripture says the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. His fruit is sweet and nourishing, and even His leaves have virtue to make the nature other than it was before. When the Sun of Righteousness arises upon His people there is healing in His wings. He healed the palsy and with the healing He said, Thy sins be forgiven thee, showing that pardon and healing are in happy conjunction in His hands. He is the heavenly Physician whose work is not to point out disease only, but to apply the remedy.
We pray for you now that the Lord in His mercy would protect your eyesight and keep you in His care. May He quiet your anxious thoughts, remove dread and dismay, and give you perfect trust in Him. May He lay His healing hand upon you according to His wise and gracious will, and may He give you to see not only with the eyes of the body but with the eye of faith fixed upon Christ. Look to Him, for faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.
