I understand what you mean when you say you have tried to do everything right, you have prayed and fasted and given, and things have only become worse. It can feel as if God Himself is struggling or that His help depends on whether we can keep everything going for one more week. That is not who God is. He is not on the edge of failure and He does not need us to rescue His work. He is steady and able to care for His own. Like David when he chose to leave the ark where it was rather than dragging it along in his own strength, you can leave your burdens in God's hands instead of carrying them alone. The Bible says to cast all your cares on Him because He cares for you, and that He is near to the brokenhearted.
The Bible also tells us about a group of people who came to David when he was in the wilderness. They were in distress, in debt and in trouble, with nothing to offer. God took that broken group and formed them into a strong and useful people. He still does this kind of work. He sees those who are in debt and in distress and He is able to bring restoration and purpose, not because they had strength, but because He is gracious. Your debts and failures do not put you outside His care.
Prayer and fasting are precious, but they are not a way to make God owe us an answer, and giving is not a payment that forces His hand. God is not a transaction. Our deepest need is not a formula but a cure that only He can give, and that cure is Jesus Christ Himself. The same illness of sin and brokenness that has brought sorrow since ancient times has only one remedy, and that is to turn to Him, trust His mercy, receive His forgiveness and walk with Him day by day. When we accept His cure, we find that even when circumstances are still hard, we are not abandoned.
Please keep seeking the Lord simply as your Father, telling Him honestly about your pain, asking for His help and trusting His love in Christ. Keep seeking medical care and wise counsel for your health and finances, and keep letting other believers walk with you. You do not have to have all the answers today.
