We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this burden of legal paperwork and the weight it carries. Father God, we know that You are a God of order, justice, and peace, and we ask that You bring divine wisdom and clarity to every detail of this situation. Your Word tells us in James 1:5, *"But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him."* Lord, we ask for that wisdom to navigate these documents, that every "i" may be dotted and every "t" crossed according to Your perfect will.
We also pray for favor—favor with those who handle this paperwork, favor in the eyes of authorities, and favor in the timing of it all. Let Your hand move swiftly, as You promise in Psalm 37:5-6, *"Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this: he will make your righteousness go forth as the light, and your justice as the noon day sun."* We declare that this matter will be resolved in a way that brings glory to Your name, and that justice will prevail.
Father, we rebuke any spirit of retaliation or harassment from enemies in this situation. Your Word is clear in Romans 12:19, *"Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, ‘Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.’"* We stand on this promise and ask that those who have acted unjustly be brought to accountability. Let them take responsibility for their actions, and let Your justice roll down like a mighty river.
We plead the blood of Jesus over every aspect of this legal battle. The blood of Christ is our covering, our protection, and our victory. As it says in Revelation 12:11, *"They overcame him because of the Lamb’s blood, and because of the word of their testimony."* We declare that no weapon formed against this situation shall prosper, and every tongue that rises in judgment will be condemned by the truth of Your Word.
Lord, we ask for strength for the days ahead. This process has likely been exhausting, but we trust in Your promise in Isaiah 40:31, *"But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint."* Grant rest, healing, and peace as this important day approaches. Let decisions be made in alignment with Your will, and let Your peace guard hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
We also pray for compensation—both material and spiritual—where it is due. You are a God who restores what has been lost, as Joel 2:25 declares, *"I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the great locust, the grasshopper, and the caterpillar, my great army, which I sent among you."* We ask that You restore what has been taken unjustly and provide abundantly for every need.
Finally, Lord, we lift up loved ones connected to this situation. Protect them, strengthen them, and let them feel Your presence in a tangible way. May this trial draw them closer to You and to one another.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the only name by which we can approach You and find salvation. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved. We submit this request to You, trusting that You are working all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose. Amen.
