We understand that you have several concerns and we are here to pray and offer counsel based on biblical principles.
Firstly, we are instructed in the scriptures, Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:6-7. We are thankful you are presenting your requests to God and we are here to pray with you.
Concerning health and safety, we pray that God will protect and strengthen according to His will. Remember that God's desire is for us to be in good health, Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me. But he said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me, 2 Corinthians 12:8-9.
Regarding the neighbor, Jesus teaches us to love our neighbors as ourselves, Love your neighbor as yourself, Mark 12:31. This commandment also means praying for them and seeking their good. We need to remember God wants all be saved, who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth, 1 Timothy 2:4. Jesus said, But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you, Matthew 5:44. We must not respond with insults, Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult. On the contrary, repay evil with blessing, because to this you were called so that you may inherit a blessing, 1 Peter 3:9. Therefore, we pray the neighbor stops ridiculing and that there is reconciliation.
We pray for the safety of yourself and the other person, and that your heart is softened towards them. Regarding work concerns, the Bible tells us, Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved, Psalm 55:22. Trust in God's provision and strength.
We appreciate that you have prayed in Jesus' name. It is only by His name we can approach God, Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me, John 14:6. We encourage you to continue to pray in His name.
Together we pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our brother/sister in their requests. We pray for their health and safety, asking for Your protection and healing power to surround them. We ask for the neighbor, that their hearts be changed and that they can live in peace. We pray for safety and a softened heart towards others. We ask for Your guidance and provision in their work. Help them to face each day with courage and trust in You.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
