All Prayer

I just need all the praying I can get. I go through a lot, and I just keep it to myself. I'm only 16, finna be 17, and I keep saying to myself, "Why?" but I know I don't suppose to question God. I try to do better, but it seems like every time I try, something blocks it. I've been looking for a job almost a year. My mother hasn't had a job in almost 8 years or a car in 3 years, but she still does the best she can. So much is going on in my life, but I'm not gonna give up. People always bad mouth me when I say when I finish school, I'm leaving my hometown and going to college. They say, "You're gonna make it? You don't do anything now, you'll do it later, sorry, you're just a bum." But I don't know what I'm gonna do, but I'll do the best I can to go off to college.

O Holy Father, Holy Son, Holy Spirit, I place all my trust in you. I do not have to be afraid for anything in this world as long as I leave it in your loving care. O kind and merciful God, enable us to follow your will and accept your judgments. Take away all my worries and console my anxious soul. Give us purpose, optimism, harmony, happiness. Make us worthy to receive your blessings. May your name be glorified, now and forever Amen.

We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect.
