Beloved of All
We have received your prayer and we join you in bringing it before the Lord.
You spoke of being driven and harassed alone in the waves of consequences, of words and bills that weigh upon you, of your dwelling and your eternal address, and of your mother, and you asked prayer for all people and for the Word. We have heard this and we pray with you with one accord, as the disciples continued together in prayer in the upper room, waiting upon the Lord.
We pray that God will give you peace in the midst of pressure and grant you rest from harassment and fear. May He guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus, and provide for your daily needs, including your home and your bills, according to His wisdom and mercy. We ask that He will give you words that are true and gracious, and that you may know His help in every practical need.
For your dwelling we remember the promise of Scripture, that if the earthly house of our tent is dissolved, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. While we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord, for we walk by faith and not by sight, yet God has prepared for those who trust in Christ alone an eternal home with Him. This is according to His eternal purpose which He purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord, foreknown from the beginning. We pray that your address in eternity may be secure in Him, through faith in Jesus Christ who alone is the way of salvation, and that you may live each day to be pleasing to Him, whether at home or away from home.
We also pray for your mother. The Lord honored His own mother and cares for mothers and children. We ask that God will bless her, keep her, draw her to do the will of the Father, and grant her health and peace and faith. As Christ honored His mother even while He fulfilled His heavenly mission, so we ask that He will honor your love for your mother and show His mercy to her.
And we pray for all people, that the Word of God may go forth and be received, that many may hear and believe and be saved through Jesus Christ alone.
May the Lord hear your cry, as He heard those who came to Him in affliction, and may He answer according to His perfect love and purpose. We commit you and your mother and all your concerns to the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, and we encourage you to continue steadfast in prayer and trust in Him.
