We join with you in bringing this desire for a kingdom marriage before the Lord and we rejoice that you have surrendered this to God and asked in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is only in His name that we are saved. As it is written, There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus 1 Timothy 2:5 and There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. We thank God that you have come through Jesus.
We hear your heart to be aligned with your kingdom spouse and to have her revealed in God's perfect timing, and we stand with you to seek His will together. We know the longing to be known and to be united in marriage as God designed it from the beginning, for Yahweh God said, It is not good that the man should be alone. I will make him a helper comparable to him Genesis 2:18 and Whosoever finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of Yahweh Proverbs 18:22 and For this cause a man will leave his father and his mother, and will be joined to his wife, and the two will become one flesh Genesis 2:24. We strongly endorse this godly desire for marriage as a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman that honors God, and we pray that the Lord will lead you to a wife who is a faithful Christian Believer, for we are commanded not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers 2 Corinthians 6:14. Any courtship leading toward that marriage must be pursued with purity and intentionality, keeping the marriage bed undefiled as God will judge the sexually immoral Hebrews 13:4 and fleeing fornication which is sin against our own bodies 1 Corinthians 6:18.
We also hear that you have someone on your heart now, and that you have experienced disappointment before when things did not work out with others you liked, and we understand how that can bring confusion about what God will provide. We encourage you that God has not forgotten you and that His timing and His wisdom are higher than ours. Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight Proverbs 3:5-6. We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose Romans 8:28 and that His plans for you are for peace and not for evil, to give you hope and a future Jeremiah 29:11. What did not work before was not a failure in God's care for you but His protection and redirection, and He is able to make character clear on both sides so that you may discern His will.
You asked for help to stay patient, kind, and at peace while you wait, and that is a beautiful prayer that reflects the fruit of the Spirit and the nature of godly love. Love is patient and is kind 1 Corinthians 13:4 and The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, and self-control Galatians 5:22-23. Waiting is not passive but active trust. Wait for Yahweh. Be strong, let your heart take courage. Yes, wait for Yahweh Psalm 27:14 and In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. We also remember the promise, Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart Psalm 37:4. This does not mean God grants every fleeting wish, but as you delight in Him and align your desires with His righteousness, He shapes your heart and He fulfills the desires that are according to His will, and This is the boldness which we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us 1 John 5:14.
We pray together now for you. Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up our brother to Your throne of grace. We ask that You align him with the wife You have prepared for him according to Your perfect will and timing. If it be Your will that the one now on his heart is that kingdom spouse, we ask that You make it abundantly clear by revealing her character and his character strongly and truthfully, opening and closing doors that no man can shut, and giving godly counsel and peace that surpasses understanding. If she is not the one, we ask that You give him grace to release her with kindness and to trust Your better provision. Guard his heart and hers in purity, keep them from fornication and from any compromise, and lead them in a courtship that honors You and looks toward holy marriage. Fill him with patience and kindness and peace as he waits, strengthen him to delight himself in You daily, and help him to rest in Your unfailing love. Let Your will be done in his life and in this romance, that it would be a testimony of Your faithfulness. We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus, amen.
We encourage you to continue to seek the Lord first, to guard your heart, to pursue fellowship and accountability with mature believers who can help you test the character and faith of any woman you consider for marriage, and to let love unfold slowly and clearly without rushing physical intimacy or emotional entanglement outside of God's design. Keep praying, keep walking in purity and in service to the Lord, and trust that He who sees in secret will reward you openly in His time.
Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.
