Alcohol Addiction

My husband is addicted to alcohol. In February 2009,he became born again but has been struggling with alcohol to an extend that he hides beer in his car and gets up in the middle of the night to go to the car and drink it. I have been praying for his deliverance since we got married in 2006. I have been having a hard time praying because I feel like God doesn't care about this. Please help me pray for him to completely stop. My faith has really gone down because of this especially when brethrens come to our home and he still confesses his salvation. If it means fasting,people of God please do and save his life. God bless.

Lord , we ask you touch Kesha and renew her faith and help her to know God cares about her every situation. Lord we ask for a spirit of deliverance to rest upon her household and upon her husband and that you loose the spirit of addiction upon his life and his mind. Lord I ask for you take control of this situation Oh God. Take control of this matter, lord I ask you to show her how much you love her, lord give her faith and throw out all doubt.

Don't change your theology because you're not getting what you want from God. You're cutting off your own blessings with unbelief. The Bible tells us it's impossible to please God without faith. It also says anything we ask believing we will receive. As soon as doubt enters your mind, you've put your blessing on hold. God is the God of increase, so if you doubt 2 days that equals 4, 6, or 20 days or a year in God's time. Remember the Israelites were given 1 year in the wilderness for every day of doubt before entering the promised land. They doubted 40 days & had to wander for 40 years.

God doesn't lie. Numbers 23:19

God hear his voice, hear his prayer, hear his pleading, hear her voice, hear her pleading in the name of the Lord Jesus I pray that your husband will be healed of alcoholism and it is done in the mighty smooth miracle way. Amen

Bless us all to come to know You, love You with all our heart, and walk in obedience to Your Holy Word. May we all do the will of Jehovah our God as Jesus did upon this earth. Bless Us, Protect Us, Heal Us, and Deliver us all from evil. Bless each of us to prosper, be in excellent health as our souls prospers in You. God please do this for my entire family (including myself). And do the same for the writer of this prayer, all my friends, neighbors, and all those I love and care about because heaven would not be the same without them there. Amen.

Seeing that you are so discouraged, may I share something with you...

I have been reading prayers from families where husbands are doing drugs, watching porno, abuse their wifes, ect...Would that be easier for you to deal with?

I don´t think that drinking beer is a great horrible thing to be discouraged about...
